New to CG - frizzy halo

Hi - I originally posted this in the introductions, but am hoping that I can get some help here. I

I'm new to CG - and have been doing it for about 6 weeks now. I love it - my curls have never been so defined.

The problem is, now I have visions of flawless curls dancing around in my head from lurking on this site. I never believed that 'my hair' could be frizz-free. My husband says now I am just greedy - before I hated my hair and now I am loving it.

My main issue right now is that I still have a halo of frizz that pops up on the crown of my head. Much less than before, but now I am striving for perfection!

My routine right now: Sometimes wash with Suave Coconut conditioner, then put in Nexxus Gorgeous Curls Mousse and some gel. I then plop and go to sleep. When I wake up, I put on some spray gel. My curls look better than they ever had, but I still have a small halo of frizz in the a.m. Any ideas?

I smooth a combination of water and Curl Keeper over the top of my hair after scrunching. That gets rid of most of it. Spritzing with water works better for me than spray gels. The water reactivates product from the day before.

On Day 4 hair, for me anyway, some frizz is unavoidable. But the natural oils are "out" more in my hair then so it's not as noticeable if that makes sense.

I have this issue too and posted about it on my blog recently. It seems right now that I am having some luck with Jessicurl. Also, I've been staying awy from using my regular towel to dry my hair.
