Ketoconazole is being used as an additional hair loss treatment, and it has shown to have positive effects on androgenetic alopecia, mainly due to its anti-androgenic effects.
Ketoconazole does have a drying effect though, thats why its not good to use it more than about every third day. It promotes Hair growth though
How would you be able to use Ketoconazole with all your other treatments. And if you are seriously looking into hair regrowth I would reccomend you Revita shampoo. Here are the ingredients.
Apple Polyphenol (procyanidin B2 and C1)
Amino Acids: Ornitine, Taurine, Cysteine
They all promote hair growth and act on hair dysfunctions on the shaft.
