Curl Definer Suggestions Please Help

I just recently started to embrace my natural hair which btw I did the big chop in Dec 2010 lol ik ik and started using Taliah Waajid mist bodifier as a leave in. I used eco styler for the first time the other day and my hair was crunchy but it did define my curls. Surprisingly I didnt have to use alot. Is there an alt that I can use to define my curls?? The only other thing ive tried is the Taaliah Waajid curl cream and I got hella flakes and my hair was sticky 0_o. Help please. Signed the lost curly sidenote below is my first twistout attempt 0_o
