I think her products are utterly unique. I'm really hoping I can learn how to make a replica of the burdock as her line is also very hard on the pocket (I buy in the U.K).

So far the OHHB is great as a sealer after the Burdock cream, it leaves my hair soft, a keeper along with Burdock.

Jury's still out on the amla though.
You know there's an 8-hour sale tomorrow, right?

Thank you all for the responses.

Of all of the products I've tried I don't think I've come across anything comparable. As someone else mentioned, her products truly are unique.

I was aware of the sale, but like Smartkitty, I live outside of the U.S. so ordering these products is "hard on the pocket."

I ended up ordering yesterday and paying approx $25 in shipping. I missed the cutoff time for the sale, unfortunately, but the savings from the sale wouldn't even have equated to half of the shipping.
I bought the big jar! My hair is very happy.

I haven't come across anything like it. To share a funny story...

I ended up going to the local store here that carries Qhem's yesterday to buy some OHHB.

I was at my son's grandparents' house and his grandmother and aunt were raving about my hair. I told them about what I used and mentioned that the store was actually just 5 minutes away.

She promptly had me call them to see if it was in stock. It was, but the store was closing in 15 min, so I had to leave right then.

She's already in love with it and since she keeps her hair relatively low, she'll probably have her OHHB for a good year. I'm sure she will be there getting other Qhem products this week.

I absolutely LOVE Qhemet products! The OHHB is great to use after the Cocoa Tree Detagling Ghee or Burdock Root Butter Cream. Great moisturizing sealant! I know some people hate the Amla and Olive Heavy Cream but I adore it because I have very thick hair that dries out if someone looks at it wrong. LOL

Gotta love Qhemet!

I just used the OHHB yesterday and O.M.G! I put it in my hair like I do castor oil or butter -- right over my conditioner. It feels sooooo good. I cold water rinsed after that. I'm going to try leaving some in, but I really love it for this use.

Not so in love the the Cocoa Tree detangling ghee. I had to add Abba Nourishing to it to get it to be creamy. Glad I only bought 2 oz.

I've never tried mixing it into a gel, but I have used it as a leave-in underneath ecostyler, and it turned out nice.

Yep. I didn't use tons of it - just enough to smooth through my hair, but yeah, it works nice. Let us know how it works for you.

i agree it is a great product, but too heavy on my pockets for the size.. im going to attempt to make my own variation since I have all of the ingredients.. not to take money out of her pockets, but to keep more in mine

On the OHHB jar it says use on dry or wet hair. So I tried it on dry hair before putting up for bed in large bantu knots. Wowee...melted the tangles. I bunned for the following 2 days using a little OHHB, Afroveda Moringa leave-in and/or CJ Aloe Fix
