I don't remember how long I was out of commission with any of my c-sections. Once I got home I just did what I could, and had to do, and rested when I needed to. I remember walkiing 5 miles the week after my 2nd was born, and that was also the c-sections with the easiest healing. It took me longer with the 3rd because I had an epidural headache and couldn't comfortably sit up, much less stand and walk until that was taken care of.
I think my 3rd was a bit over year before I started feeling more like 'myself', but that could have been more a mental thing than physical. I haven't had any loss of sensation with the surgeries and don't recall any achiness after the 6-8 week healing time.
