When my little ones did that, I'd usually just hold them over the sink or tub and spray the food out with water. The only time that I had to actually toss him in the tub was when I gave him dried papaya...I'd heard it was good for teething....mistake for the mess. I had to use a bunch of conditioner to get it out...that was fun. Water wash always worked and I am assuming that you are washing it out as soon as she finishes eating. I dunno, maybe a hat to keep some of it out of her hair?
