Yeah, this is somewhat local to me, so it's all over the news.

It's not unusual for kids to hunt with their Dads, so it's not so unusual to have a child sized gun. I don't have an issue with that, but no kid should have unsupervized access to said gun.

Yeah, true. I grew up in the Burgh, as you know, so I get the hunting thing. Side story: My dad was a hunter also and he taught me how to use a gun. He also kept his guns in a zippered BAG under the bed in full view of me and anyone else who walked upstairs. I can't recall if he locked it! But times were different then. You can't do that anymore IMO.
