Hope nobody minds, but I'm bumping this to piggyback a question to it.

If you don't want to do a full-blown protein treatment, but just want to use a conditioner with protein in it, how high up on the ingredient list should that protein be? I find the protein is often way down, past the fragrance. Is that enough to even see any results at all?

I've seen recommendations here for Nexxus Emergen-C (sp?), Aubrey Organics GVP, and Kenra. Do they have more protein than, say, Trader Joe's Refresh/Giovanni 50-50, which have soy protein about halfway down the list (after the oils but before the Vitamins, preservatives and fragrance?)
