Hair Color STILL washing out

I got my hair dyed for the first time ever about 2.5 months ago. My stylist dyed it a brown base color with red highlights. I knew my hair would fade some initially. But now whenever I shampoo my hair or just rinse it, I can still see that my hair color is coming out! The runoff water in the shower is a brown/red mixture whenever shampoo/rinse my hair.

WHY is this still happening?? How can I make this stop?

The best way to preserve colored hair is to NOT USE SHAMPOO AT ALL! Go silicone free, use a cleansing conditioner (but not the new Ouidad ones because they took off a TON of my color!) instead of a shampoo, and don't use water that's too hot. Also, try to increase the number of days between cleansing!

My color lasts about 8 months before it has faded enough for me to have to go redo it. This is the method I use, if you're curious.

Good luck!

Hi Lauren.Chees!

This happens to most of the people who go for hair dying and like you majority of people doesn't know about the exact and effective remedy for that. The best solution to protect and brighten the hair color is to use GKhair juvexin color sealing. I have personally experienced this product as I also color my hair off and on and whenever I used this product my hair color don't get fade out quickly rather make the color bright and make it stay for longer time.
I have the issue of that some of my hair going white I want to color it but I don't know what is the best color product..
