Hello amys.I agree with you dear.These are healthy cardio exercises and i also do these exercises.Running and cycling are best because these are best for legs and helpful in reducing weight.In short it is a wonderful post and also informative.

The best cardio is doing something you enjoy that gets your heart rate up. There's not point doing it if you don't enjoy it because you won't continue it. Also weight loss is considered to be about 80% diet, 20% exercise.

You also cannot spot reduce, so saying step aerobics makes you lose weight from just your legs and hips is bogus. It will more than likely firm the leg muscles and aid fat loss all over the body.

I like the cross trainer and bike for my cardio. A heavy weights session is also hugely beneficial.

I have a few other things I want to say but I'm on my phone so it'll have to wait until I get home.

I quit running years ago because it was starting to affect my knees after several years of doing it. I now do very little cardio, (hate it anyway), and have less flab than I have had for years. I've never been more than 12 pounds over my ideal weight, but even now with my weight a about 8 lbs. over what I would like, my waist and stomach are feeling flat and not flabby. It is due to eating healthier (not always healthy, but overall healthier) and doing Barre exercises. Those things really can reshape your body. I know I will take off most of those extra pounds, I put them on due to a shoulder injury that has really affected my workouts for the past week and my birthday weekend this last week added to my eating more than I usually do. I can't speak for someone who needs to lose a lot of weight though.

I was reading a thread on the low carb friends exercise board about people who do little to no cardio and are in good shape. They use weight training and healthy eating. What and how much you eat is absolutely the most important thing in weight control, IMO.
Well I think cardio exercises such as Swimming and cycling are really effective for our body as both these give you more energy and strength . So I think both are best cardio exercises for all .

I like all the cardio exercise for the fitness but I prefer running for the fitness and weight management, because the running is best to burn the calories and weight loss.
For me running and swimming are good cardio exercises because on this kind of workout all body parts are function and cardio exercises is really advisable so that our heart become stronger and it is also a good way to increase your stamina.
Any cardio that you enjoy doing. If you don't enjoy doing it you will not stick with it. Try all different things to find what is for you.

For me I love spin classes. I get the most effective calorie burn from a 60 minute class.

I also think it is important to have a balance of cardio and weight training/strength training in your workout routine.
