Hello, I'm new here and have a particular situation that I think some of you might be able to help me with.

I have hair that just about reaches my chin in length all the way around my head and I'm pretty sure I've identified it correctly as 2C Wavy Whirly. I don't use a lot of product in it mostly because I have no idea what I'm doing. I live somewhere with extremely harsh winters which really dries out my hair and lives it frizzy after I shower, whether I let it dry naturally or blow dry it. I use a morrocon oil/coconut oil shampoo and conditioner when I shower as well.

However, I work out 3-4 times a week. I usually do cardio for 30 mins and then do strength training afterwards. I sweat a lot while doing cardio and by the time I'm done doing strength training (45ish mins. later) the sweat that was in my hair dries. I noticed the other day my hair curls like perfectly and all frizz is almost completely eliminated after the sweat dries in my hair. It looks and feels really moisturized too. Even the usually really dry hair that grows just above my temples curls really nicely and appears a lot more moisturized than when I come out of the shower.. I was wondering if there was a product and/or natural solution I could use in my hair to produce the same effect? I think leaving sweat in my hair would be a little unsanitary haha.

Thanks in advance for your help!
I would look into some gentler shampoos and conditioners, and try to wash it only every other day, if possible (or less). Also, it sounds like sea salt sprays or "beach waves" products might help you.

I wonder too if you'd benefit from a leave-in conditioner.

Plus coconut oil or grapeseed oil are something that if you DO have frizz you can use a LITTLE BIT of, really just emulsify a teeny bit in your hand and smooth through your hair or when you shower mix a drop (A DROP) or two in your conditioner in your hand and use it that way. Also, you might see if you can get away with a low poo. Something like Shea Moisture retention shampoo. Your natural oils may be getting stripped from your shampoo and it isn't until you sweat from your workout that it gets smoothed back down.
