just out of curiosity… what system do you use (if any) to describe your hair?
i actually prefer the LOIS system… people can get a better idea of my hairtype when i say “OS spongy” than when i say “4a.”
(of course, that’s only if they already understand the LOIS hairtyping system… LOL 😆 )
I like LOIS better because it adds the element of TEXTURE, which is more important to me than curl diameter when I’m looking for hair cousins/twins.
Hmmm, I thought my hair was wiry but now reading [url]http://ourhair.net/content/view/29/40/1/1/[/url], I think I may be OS silky? I’m so confuzzled!
ETA: Nevermind, I’m sticking with wiry…
i use LOIS b/c its much more descriptive…plus, i dont fit into andre’s sytem. i dont think andre makes a dffference between good and bad, i think we do. if i were to use andre’s system, i guess i would be a type 4 curl w type 3 texture…thats why i post in both forums…but generally, i go by whose hair looks like mine, not by the number/letter.
