Does coco betaine remove beeswax?

I've just started using SIF and I like what it does, but my hair is feeling a little more producty lately. I use a coco betaine shampoo once a week or so. Is that enough to get the beeswax from SIF out?

Oh dude! I never thought of the SIF causing that weird coating on my hair, whew that's a relief! That's easy to stop using.
I thought it might have been one of my beloved products.

I think some don't have an issue with the beeswax but my hair seems to suck almost everything up. I think the A cone is the only thing so far that doesn't cause me a problem.

I'm glad I read this post, thanks!
2c/3a?
Low porosity, medium texture.

If it smells good put it in your hair, if it tastes good spit it out!
Bumping this because I was curious to if the B2B coconut mango condish listed above is the old version or the reformulated one. Or if anyone knows if both versions of it are cone-laden?
3a/2c f/mii. pics added 2/3/07
Nevermind, medusahair confirmed they were both cone-laden for me.

I figured, since we have the "sulfate, 'cone and protein-free products" thread, I'd make a sister thread for the opposite.

Jason Natural Sea Kelp Conditioner

Ingredients:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hawaiian sea kelp/algae extract, purified soft water, orchid flower extract, stearalkonium chloride, hydrolyzed wheat protein, cetrimonium chloride, soluble wheat protein, emulsifying wax nf (vege), stearyl alcohol, glycerin (vege), panthenol.

Is there something hidden here that I'm not seeing???

Man, there seems to be a never-ending list of "no-no"
ingredients, I'm about ready to start scrubbing my head
with sand and rainwater (oops, nevermind, acid-rain...sigh).

Thanks!
Nice catch! Either they changed their formula or it is in the wrong list. Looks to me it should be under the Wax List.

Here's the Jason's Natural Sea Kelp Conditioner, Hair Moisturizing formula ingredients I got off a bottle in Whole Foods.

aqua (purified water), lavandula angustifolia (lavender) hydroflorate, symphytum officinale (comfrey) extract, anthemus nobilis (chamomile) extract, calendula officinalis (marigold) extract, emulsifying wax, equisetum arvense (horsetail) extract, aloe barbadensis gel (aloe vera), keratin amino acids, planthenol-3 (plant phospholipids, dl-panthenol, ethyl panthenol steardimonium panthenol), stearalkonium chloride, glycerin (vege), laminaria saccharina (hawaiian sea kelp/algae), cymbidium grandiflorum (orchid) flower extract, hedychium coronarium (awapuhi) extract, aleurites moluccana (kukui) nut oil, plumeria acutifolis (plumeria) extract, natural tocopherol (vitamin e), ascorbic acid (vitamin c), stearyl oxybenzone, triticum vulgare (hydrolyzed wheat protein), glyceryl stearate, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE (and) dimethicone, citrus grandis (grapefruit) seed extract, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, chlorophyllin, essential oil blend.

I'm assuming the emulsifying wax is emulsifying wax nf which isn't really a wax. With the cyclopentasiloxane in there, it doesn't really matter for me to confirm whether it's nf or not.

If so that is a little disturbing...

Thanks again!
I just started using this condish and really love what it does for my hair. I did a quick search and was going to add to or post a positive review and found this thread that lists it as a "Cyclo--siloxane-containing conditioner (including cyclopentasiloxane and its siblings)".

I don't see it in the ingredients. Has it changed or do I not know what I'm looking for?

Ingredients: Deionized Water, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth 20, Extracts of: Green Tea, Sage, Rosemary, Basil, Mullein, Licorice, Thyme, and Vanilla, Certified Organic: Sunflower Oil, Aloe Vera, Jojoba Oil, Lavender Oil, Lemon Oil, Wheat Protein, Wheat Amino Acids, Tocopherol, Lecithin, Panthenol, Caprylic Acid, Glycine, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid

Just found this, so I'm bumping for the newbies looking for products. I know it's a few years old, but it's still helpful
CG since 6/15/08!
Medium-Fine/Normal Porosity

http://collegecurly.blogspot.com/
Just found a new one... Cristophe Purely Natural Conditioner has cyclopentasiloxane. All the ingredients looked so nice, but then I skimmed it again one time, and noticed the -xane.
mostly 3a. a little 2c and 3b.
fine/thin, but lots of it.
This is such a great list, but I'm a bit confused. Redken Fresh Curls Conditioner... It's on several lists of cone-free conditioners (or possibly just one list on several websites, such as http://ladylonghair.googlepages.com/...eeconditioners). Is it ok to use or not? I haven't been able to find a list of ingredients anywhere.
Anyone up to the task of adding/updating these lists?
