Devacare/Devacurl One Condition - is it heavy for medium/fine texture?

I used this a while ago (had a sample) and really liked it, but I was also using it in combo with other products under perfect weather conditions, lol.

I'm thinking about purchasing the full size, as I have an Ulta gift card, but figured I'd check here first.

My hair is porous, medium/fine texture, and fairly dense. I just want to make sure it's not too heavy, as I know it has olive oil in it.

Hair Type - medium to fine texture, high porosity, lots of it, type 2b/3a
I am using Devacare right not. I have used both, I like both but Devacare is working really well in my hair right now.
Hmmm...I don't know the answer to your question regarding what is better for your hair type!! One of the experts on our boards needs to help!
Enjoy your ulta card!
DevaCare was the first "curly line" products that I tried when I went CG last November. I didn't use it long, as I find it gives me the itchies if I use consistently.

However, it does have a "weighing down" quality for my hair--also porous and fine/med. I use it as part of my rotation (ie, I bought the DevaCare lowpoo and OneC), and when I want to be weighed down a bit, or I need to lowpoo for some reason, I'll haul it out. Used occasionally I'm okay. Used consistently, not so much. I really dislike the Deva styling products and while I have nearly full bottles of Arcangell and B'Leave-In and Set-it-Free, I just don't bother with it anymore. Made me frizzier and stickier. I like touchable hair.

DevaCURL is heavier than DevaCARE IMO. I've heard quite a few finer haired curlies mention it can weigh down over time and they need to poo btwn cowashes to lighten things up.

I'm DevaCurls' biggest cheerleader at the moment. I really love the results I'm getting. I say try it out, Ulta will take back pretty much any product. You can't lose.

I have 2b/3a medium/fine hair like you do and I don't find the One Condition to be to heavy at all. I use it as conditioner, leave in and deep conditioner and it really gives my hair nice results. My hair has never looked better or been curlier.

I use DevaCurl No Poo and One Condition. I have fine hair and my hair does not feel weighed down at all. I use them both every day, I do rotate leave-ins and styling products though, but my Deva stuff is an everyday thing
