New here & need some advice pls!

Hey everyone,

I've just registered to this site & need some advice about hair styles!

Years ago I had what was thought to be traction alopecia, it's not very bad (looks worse to me when it's wet) but is a little thin on top, I don't feel comfortable with a centre parting put it that way.

I'm not sure of it's type as it is more curly than wavy but it's prone to frizz and it's fine and soft unless I put a lot of product on it!!
It can be tamed by good products and does look nice if I take my time to style it.

ANYHOO, I am booked in for a haircut with my stylist friend tomorrow, and I'm thinking about getting a pixie cut BUT I don't know if it would be a huge mistake.

Does anyone have any experience of pixie cuts on wavy/curly hair that is fine not coarse & thick? I'm not sure if I'd cut the curl out as I had it in a graduated bob once and the back was v short and almost had no room to curl if that makes sense.

Any help would be appreciated, I've attached a pic of me with my hair about 2 inches shorter than it is now.

Here is a curly pixie cut. I think it is very pretty.

Hair: 2a or 3a (not sure), very porous and fine as frog hair
Day 1: Cowash and condition with AO GPB, ACV Rinse,
Co-Kra gel (this stuff is fantastic)

Day 2: KCKT, KCCC, plop, KCCC, plop again, air dry
Day 3: Curly Kinks Satin Roots, Coil Jam
Day 4: IAGirl's PT, KBB DT, FSG

Co-Kra gel is my own concoction of okra boiled in coconut milk. It is a cross between FSG and KCCC and leaves my hair very soft and shiny
