Plopping survey - who it *doesn't* work for

If plopping *doesn't* work for you, what is your hair type?
My hair is pretty fine textured but thick and also some very kinky hairs that won't do *anything* at the top of my head. I've tried plopping, although not too many times. I think my problem is that if I apply the product and then "plop", the towel or t-shirt or whatever soaks up a lot of the product. Then when my hair dries, it's almost TOO soft, becuase it doesn't have a lot of product left in it. The curl falls out and gets bushy if it doesn't have product to hold it together. I usually scrunch with a towel once I've applied my mousse, but can't leave a towel around my hair for too long or too much product gets soaked up by the towel. Oh well!
3a blonde hair, a mix of fine/coarse, and lots of it! I'm using Kenra Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner just about every day, with Herbal Essences Max. Control Mousse.
My hair is very thick, fine textured, and spirally. Plopping helps curl formation overall, but guarantees a "halo" at the top.

But at least the pews never attend yoga!
Just thought I'd mention that I'm thick, coarse and spirally but I meant to answer the other poll, that it *did* work for me. So there should be only 1 at the top of the poll results.

I find it interesting that mostly fine textured curlies aren't responding to plopping.
Oops! I thought you were asking did it work for me. It used to work for me. Now, well, it's the same old song and dance....My hair is to short to curl so I'm just being nice to it and letting it grow.

Plopping makes really defines my curls but it makes me look like Marge Simpson. I have 2C/3A hair, I just wash and condition, put in some leave in conditioner and maybe a little gel and scrunch it
