Looking for a great Curl Creme
Hey guys! Happy Valentine's Day :D

Anyway, I'm trying to find a great Curl Creme. Trying to stay strictly CG, so no cones, xanes, sulfates, etc...Still learning my hairs properties but I do know that I have Fine, 2B/2C hair. Thanks in advance! :)

My two faves are ISO Bouncy Curls and Organix Morrocan Curl Perfecting Cream.

What exactly do you find a curl cream does? it is the one styling aid I have not tried...

I like Shea Moisture's curl enhancing smoothie. For me I find it lives up to its name in that it enhances curls, and also acts as a moisturizing leave in and a good base styler that provides a bit of extra hold. For fine hair it might be a little heavy though.

Curl Cremes are just curl enhancers. My hair just loves them.
I actually have the smoothie, but I'm looking for something lighter. I only use a little of it and it works fine, I just want to see if I can find something my hair likes better.

I use a lot of richer products in minute amounts on my fine/low porosity hair. I find the SM Smoothie "heavy," rather then rich, if you understand the difference.

I rotate products. Although I wet, use a rinse out and style, I seldom use any one product more then once in five days, if that. You may find some of the products in my signature interesting to try.

I like Darcys Botanicals curl cream gel. Its not really like a gel at all.

:D Thanks guys! The product Junkie in me is thrilled with all of these different creme's to try! Just need to keep telling myself to wait until one bottle is gone before purchasing another one. Ahahahahaha....

If you think the smoothie is too heavy, you might try the milk. It's supposedly the same thing only lighter.

macadamia natural oil reviving curl cream :)

I second the ISO bouncy Creme and the Macademia Nut curl Creme. Both are really good-Iso makes my curls soft and bouncy, while the Macademia Nut adds hold and structure to my curls.
I also like the Coffee Coco Curl Creme Lite-it works well on wet and dry hair

If you are in the UK or can find it online, I used to LOVE Boots Curl Creme.

AG Re:Coil is also good but some find it drying

Even more to try!! Thanks for the responses guys :D I shall have an awesome time experimenting!!

Well, the first I decided to try was the Organix Morrocan Curl Perfecting Cream. I also bought the Shea Moisture Yucca & Aloe Boabab Thickening Shampoo, Conditioner, Anti-Breakage Deep Treatment, and the Milk(Thank goodness for Walgreens and their Buy 1 get 1 half off sale!!)

After my routine, I used the
Organix Morrocan Curl Perfecting Cream and I did noticed that my hair totally dried out. So I had to use other products to get decent moisture back.

At first I was thinking maybe it was the new shampoo/condish and I was reluctant to try them again. But I just decided to be daring today and stuck to my Shea Moisture products, and my hair looks amazing!! So I'm thinking the curl creme was my nemesis.

Any who, this is the reason we experiment and find the products that work for us. :-) Good thing I have a lot of sisters I can throw my unused products to, lol!!

Again, Thank you guys for your responses!! <3
