Anyone else have multiple hair textures and porosities? My hair ranges from 2c in the back of my hair which is also the coarse part of my hair a mixture of 3a & 3b in the front and sides. And 3c in a small section on the right side of my head close to crown area. I have low to medium porosity and high in the back. Please help thank you
It's common to have multiple textures with curly hair. The porosity can be; however, it can be dependent on how you've treated it in the past--color, highlights, heat damage, etc.

Other then that, I'm not sure what you are asking.
3a (Corkicelli), highlighted, fine, low porosity

HGs: Anything Sevi; Curly Kinks Satin Roots, Curlycue ReNew and Coil Jam; homemade FSG and okra gel; soap bars; UFD Curly Magic; Botanical Spirits Jellies, CJ Repair Me, Aloe Fix
I'm just trying to find out what kind of products can be helpful w/o having to buy different things for my different textures. I could put a deep conditioner in, a leave in and a gel the way my hair reacts to that is backwards to my coarse 2c hair in the back.
Oh, I'm right there with you! I have 3A in the front but then toward the back I'm more 3B. Products in my signature all work great for me, even with my different hair textures

Growing my hair to WL when dry
I have a range of 3a to 3c curls which follow a general pattern of getting curlier the closer to the centre of my crown they are, but also have a few isolated, extremely small sections which are barely wavy. While I understand and agree that hair characteristics (texture, i.e., fine to coarse, porosity, elasticity, and density) and dew point are more important than curl pattern, I did find, when we had different forum sections for the varieties of type 3 curls, that the information in the 3b section seemed most helpful to me. I suspect that's largely because it covered average curls (vs. wavy or kinky/fractal hair).
