Need a Tip for Quick Straightening.
When wet, my hair is ridiculously curly. If I towel dry it and comb it through, it'll be more or less wavy but frizzy and puffy.

Short of getting it relaxed (which I'm not interested in doing) or blow drying it straight (which I don't have the time for) what can I do to achieve a semi-straight look without the frizz and volume?

I'm thinking I need to towel dry it, add some sort of oil/serum and then comb through, minimally. Any suggestions?

When I straighten, I use a leave-in conditioner then blowdry my hair while brushing, combing, or fingercombing. Once dry, my hair is huge and puffy and looks like a lion's mane. Then I smooth some jojoba oil through my hair and straighten it in small sections with a wide-barrel curling iron. I usually add a little more jojoba oil after ironing too.

Edited due to a cyberstalker. Sorry, guys. :(

Unfortunately, your guess is as good as mine. Pre-curl embracing, the only way I could get somewhat straight, non-frizzy (which is a bit generous) hair was to first blow dry completely and then use an iron. I never could figure out a way to get it even semi-straight by letting it air dry. Which should have been a very large clue that my hair desperately wanted to do something else. :) Good luck!

I can get my hair really straight with a round, boar bristle brush. First I apply a leave-in and then some Phystodefrissant. I blow dry with just a vent brush until it's mostly dry, just a little damp. That's when I begin blow drying in sections with my round brush, which smooths my hair out. Usually doing this prevents me from needing any type of finishing step, no serums, no flat iron. Honestly doesn't take me much more time that diffusing curly.

I do what Botticellicurlygirl does except i don't use a leave in and i begin to blow dry with the round, natural bristle brush when it's slightly wetter than damp. Phytodefrissant is great. i also don't usually put anything else on my hair to finish.
When my hair begins to feel dry, it's also kind of big and puffy. I find that i have to keep going through it with the brush and dryer a few more times and then it gets smooth and shiny.
