Garnier Fructis Curl & Shine products

I'm thinking of trying the GF Curl & Shine shampoo and conditioner, as well as the corresponding leave-in and the Curl Cream. Does anyone here like these? I have mixed-texture, 2C-3A hair with the bottom part about shoulder-length now(I've been growing it for the last 4 months from a cut that was a bit shorter than I wanted.
I only use the leave in and it's great at curl formation
3a/3b thick coarse WL dark brown hair. CG/Mod CG since: 5/4/05. Current products: Right now my hair is in such a tizzy over this winter weather we are hving that nothing really seems to be working. I need a haircut.
I c&p'd this from the post I posted to you on the other board :

I've used the shampoo - only because I bought it by mistake (have one more sitting unused) - and it lathers beyond belief! I'm modified CG, so I don't use it often.

I use the conditioner and during the cooler months would use this as my leave-in under my gel. I used as much as with the leave-in conditioning cream (palmfull or two).

I'm wearing the cream today, as a matter of fact, because of this thread . I cowashed, conditioned, used CK and then the conditioning cream as my styler. Plopped, air dried/diffused and have great curls all the way to the roots .
CG-modified since 4/05

Ok, so I tired this again today and still wound up with frizzy, weighed down hair. I scrunched with my mft, so I know it's not the towel that caused the frizz yesterday. I think I'm going to return this tomorrow. Oh well, what works for one doesn't work for all.
3a/3b~Currently: V05 Kiwi Lime/Tea Therapy Vanilla Mint for co wash, Suave Aloe or V05 Strawberries and Cream for co and leave-in, Burts Bees Super Shiny poo, EMBS, CK, re:coil, B&A/LA Looks Sport

I bought the shampoo and conditioner and hate them both. It's been a while since I've looked at the bottles, but I think they have a cone in them. They gave me weighted-down, frizzy hair.
I use the whole line

Leave In
Curl Shaper

And I get on 4a hair.
Are these products CG? When I looked at the bottles they looked like there where cones there. but I can never remember which are the water soluble ones. ~~jax

i like GF conditioners- i don't use the shampoo or the gels, but i find the CO's are interchangeable--curlnshine, dry and damaged, length and strength etc i just leave in the CO after washing w suave and honey. works great and does not build up on my hair--the leavein is ok too

I use their Leave-in Conditioning Cream (about a quarter-size amount) and mix in a little bit of their Soft Curl Cream (pea-size amount), emulsify it in my palms, plop, and go. It works for me. I believe both of them have 'cones (Dimethicone, Amodimethicone) so they are fine to use if you are not on the CG routine. I like how they have natural ingredients like avocado oil, lemon extract and mango glycerides, which at least makes me feel like I am doing something good for my hair.

I like the sleek and shine but not the curl and shine. Weird. I also like the soft curl cream but not the leave-in pump lotion stuff. The soft curl cream is something I could not LIVE without

I've just started using the Curl & Shine Leave In Condish (maybe 4-5 times) and so far, I'm loving it.
I'm using CK, Joiwhip Mousse, then the leave in. I think I finally got my amounts right (for my hair). Today, after my hair dried I messed with it a lot (finger combing, putting it up, etc) and ended up leaving it down and it didn't turn into a big frizz pile. Oh, sticky humid weather too. Of course, this doesn't mean it will work tomorrow

FYI - quite a bit of CK - maybe 2 fifty cent pieces, about a tennis ball size of joiwhip (after foaming up) and probably a big quarter size of leave in. Oh, and it was on dripping wet hair.
