Does coconut oil or EVOO contain protein?

No, these are oils. Proteins are a whole different category.

This is what I've read from the site

Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
(Cocos nucifera)
Fresh Yummy Coconut
Cold pressed from FRESH coconut meat contained within it's outer shell the Coconuts used are from the traditional Palms organically grown in Fiji - no hybrid varieties are ever used.

The Coconut meat is hand picked & gently heated at a temperature that *does not* exceed 60C. It has a free fatty acid level below 1%, which is well within the stability criteria for vitamin E and other natural tocopherols.

No deodorization
No hydrogenation
No refining
No chemicals added
No bleaching

Our Fair Trade Organic Virgin Coconut Oil (or VCO) has an irresistibly yummy aroma, pure white in colour and is good for you both inside and out.

In India, VCO is gently messaged into the scalp and is said to promote strong healthy tresses.
"Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is the only oil found to reduce the protein loss for both undamaged and damaged hair. This is due to the fact that VCO is a triglyceride of lauric acid (principal fatty acid). It has a high affinity for hair proteins & because of its low molecular weight and straight linear chain, VCO is able to penetrate deep inside the hair shaft and carry nourishment along with it. "
