You hair cut is awesome!! It's so chic, I absolutely love it. I know you were using Ouidad, how does the CK compare or differ from Ouidad? I have both, but starting to think the the CK works better.

Gio, I love your cut! It's stunning on you. I remember your last short cut, and it made me want to go shorter too. If only it would look as good on me.

I'm currently growing out, just below BSL, just for the heck of it and because I haven't had a devacut (or trim or anything) for over 8 months now. I do need a shape up, but your cut is so tempting. My in-laws keep saying I should cut it like that, but I just don't know.

I forgot, I also love CK. I don't use the gel, I found a cheaper one that works as well or better, but I use the CK each time I wash/wet/style.... Actually, I have been mostly using a leave-in conditioner and the CK, no gel.

OMG I love your hair. Beautiful is the only word I can think to describe it.
Type: 3a fine & dense, with normal porosity, terrible product junkie
ROUTINE: LI, enhancer, gel, plop with Curlease towel, serum product (either CIAB or Gel-les'c), clip & diffuse.
Too many favourite products to list ... I finally have my routine that works and alot of products to choose from. My product stash is huge, but well loved !!!
Sorry it took so long to write back.
I work in an accountants office and it's tax season and I'm beyond swamped...but I decided to take a 10 minute break to check Naturallycurly.com
I was using Ouidad....but wasn't 100% in love w/it. I still have a huge bottle of the gel...1/2 done...and also a small bottle of the ArcAngel from Deva. I tend to use those products on the weekends or if I know I'm staying home b/c I don't care as much. Oh and I always use my Deva stuff when I go for my deva cut. I gotta get rid of it somehow and i can't justify throwing it away after spending so much $.
But comparing Ouidad & CK. I love CK 100% more. Ouidad when I dry comes out very crunchy and CK is soooo soft. And honestly, my hair just comes out 100 times better w/CK.
As for the diffuser: I use the Conair Curl Fusion w/o the attachment. Basically my routine is this:
I spritz some CHS Silk detangler and put a palm full of CK in my palm and then comb through. Something I never use to do. Then I add about a nickle/quarter size amount of the CHS gel.
Then I flip my head upside down and scrunch up some curls. Then I flip back and twirl my bangs a bit so they sit how I like. Then I basically get dressed...moisturize...do you need to know that ?
Well, I say it b/c technically CHS suggests you wait 10 minutes before touching the hair. Honestly, I don't wait that long b/c I have to get myself and my kids ready for work/school. SO....I basically flip my head upside down and use the dryer. I start from the back and then tilt my head to the side and do the sides....and do the front last.
Then I flip back up....and dry any sections that need it and place curls where they need to be and that's it.
Honestly I think it's all about the cut. Erin at Cala Renee's did an AWESOME job.
If you have any other questions....let me know.
But it may take me a bit to get back to you b/c I've already filled up my play at work quoto for today.
I'll check again tomorrow.
