Protein Question- K Pac

I think my hair loves protein. I picked up some Generic K-Pac from Sally's because Tiffany suggested doing a protein treatment after my highlights. I used on Saturday- great curls. Loved results so much I used it again today. Do you see my new Avatar? Nice, soft spirally curls! I think because my hair is med-fine, but since we use a water softener it makes it even softer and sometimes a little limp. The protein seems to have made my curls stiffen up. How often should I use it? I don't want to over-do it. I have folllowed up both days with my Tigi MM for a leave-in.

I think you're the closest thing I have to a hair twin. You have more curls than I do (mine get weighed down so easily).

Anyway, my hair loooves protien. I use protien in my conditioner and use the Redken CAT like 1x a week. I can't use the K-pac because the mineral oil weighs down my hair. Its probably what giving you nice soft curls though

I don't know how to tell you how NOT to overdo it. I just back off when my hair starts feeling crunchy. The majority of the hair on my head is fine, while the crown is more medium (and damaged). So under both of those conditions I can take a lot of protien.

And if it starts to get crunchy, just do a DT. That's my newbie advice heh.
