Damaged Hair!!! Help!

I recently went blond after having long curly brown high lighted hair, well lets just say that the girl who did my hair blond. Killed my hair. I had no more curls, it was all spongy and breaking off. It has been 3 months and I had to chop it all off to my chin. It looks horrible. I went back brown that way it wouldn't look that bad. I have tries every thing from the store that I could possibly buy. I have even used mayo in it. I have some of the curls back, but they are still a little stringy. I am out of ideas and I hate that I have to wait like two years to get it back the way it was. My question is, is there any thing else that I can do to make my curls come back like to speed up the process and what else can I possibly put in it that I haven't already tried.
I'm so sorry for what you're going through! The same thing happened to me after I got highlights. Having your hair so damaged is bad enough, but having to cut so much length off is really adding insult to injury.
There are lots of great deep treatments. You might want to type "deep treatments" in the search bar and see what comes up. Personally, I would look for a hair mask, or any deep conditioner that's meant to be left on for like a half hour or so. ( Not your usual after-wash kind) Go for moisture right now, not protein. Your hair's too vulnerable right now to experiment with protein, in case you're protein sensitive. Get it in better condition first. Cowash, put on the deep treatment, put on a plastic cap, and apply heat all over the cap for at least 15 minutes, more if you can. Remember to make sure the deep treatment has no silicones. Good luck.
I'm going to slightly disagree with curlyinohio. I just read a couple of articles by a hair expert with a degree in science and healthcare about coloring hair and porosity. According to the article, coloring hair damages the cuticle layer causing it to become porous. The repair for such extreme damage is PROTEIN. Now, since your hair is very vulnerable, I would do light protein treatments 1x per week immediately followed by deep moisture (protein free) conditioning. The article suggested Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner as a gentle protein treatment. You can follow this up with Jessicurl Weekly Deep Conditioning Treatment or CJ Curl Rehab Moisturizing Hair Treatment for the deep moisture treatment. I would leave the protein treatment on for the minimum amount of time and the moisture treatment on for 1 hour. This should help get your hair back to normal.
