I did something really stupid, and; being the first time ever I took down extensions, I cut my braids way too up high, so some of my hair on the front is wayway shorter than the rest. I can cover it up easily for this week in which I'll keep it loose, and next week I'll braid it uo again for another couple of months. My question is: will my shorter hair be able to keep up with the rest of the hair's lenght? Cause overall I have a pretty fast growth, and I'm hoping that the shorter hair grows uo faster than the already long hair, is that possible?
Hope I made myself clear, english not being my first language, and wish a good night for y'all!
I'm sorry this happened to you. The super short hair will grow at a different rate from the hair that is much longer, so it will not catch up to your longer hair. but when the shorter is at a length that you are happier with you can cut the longer hair to match your shorter hair so its even. You mentioned that your hair grows fast, but may be you could apply castor oil to the section that is shorter so it can grow super quick. I hope this helps.

I did the same stupid thing a while back. It was a really bad move. It took me 2 haircuts before it all melded together.

Unfortunately, i don't think there is any way to really hasten hair growth. I hope you can find a good way to deal with it until you are ready to cut it so that everything melds together.

2/c Coarse hair med. density.
Highly porous. Color over grey.
I love all the Curl Junkie products. Still experimenting with gels and curl creams. Still hoping for 2nd day hair....
