2008 Hair Resolutions

hey ladies! have you thought about what your hair goals are for the new year?
  1. Stick to my vitamins/ water
  2. Continue my DT treatments
  3. Henna and indigo once a month
  4. No trims or cuts until august 2008
  5. Let it grow, Let it grow, let it grow

1) hopefully grow to APL
2) be more gentle and patient during the detangling process
3) wear more protective styles
4) keep with products that i know work for my hair/spend less money on hair stuff.
1) Be more consistant with DTing every week
2) Start taking my vitamins daily
3) Do Cassia
4) Try Henna by march
5)Spend less on hair products, find my HG
6) Be more experimental with styles, and stop making excuses about my hair beeing too short for this or that
CURRENT PRODUCTS: Oyin Honey Hemp, Honey Wash, Burnt Sugar Pomade, Shine and Define, and Whipped Pudding. Also loving HH Hello Hydration and HENNA!

1. No trimming until May
2. Gradually trim off dyed parts
3. be more consistent with my routine.
4. Never dye my hair again.
Shoulder length by May/june
one cut between now and then
Try cassia
twists or twists with exensions soon
Eat better
Exercise more
Continue my hair routine and vitamins

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.
  • No straightening with the pressing comb
  • Limit flat iron use to no more than once per month
  • Consistent Deep Treatments
  • Exercise every other day
  • Limit how much I spend on hair products (this will be hard...but it's a must!)

I want to:

consistently take hair vitamins
exercise more
drink more water
let my hair grow, grow, grow
only use semi perm/gentle hair color
use deep treatments more often
appreciate my mad curls
To keep drinking water and continously taking my hair supplements.I want to reach hip length by December 2009 hopefully,then I'll be satisfied.Keep washing only once a week and deep conditioning with Cholesterol,it helps my hair tremendously.Also, keep using castor oil straight,I'm in love with that stuff.

no trims until the summer....let my 1 inch long hair finally grow.

2. No flat ironing, period
3. Wear it up less, let the curls run free
What's working this week:
Shower: Garnier 3x Nutrition shampoo 1x per week, cowash with Tres Semme Naturals, condition with
GF Sleek and Shine deep conditioner
Styling: Tres Semme Naturals as leave in, L'Oreal Melting gel and HE SMU raked in, LOOB and AG Re:Coil scrunched in, Jojoba Oil scrunched in when totally dry

If I can accomplish this alone, I'll be so happy.
these are some good ones! i know i really need to watch my spending this year; last year was my first year being natural; but now im hoping that i can cut down on buying so many products.

Relaxer free for almost 5 years!

1. make some major things happen (financially, emotionally, spiritually)
2. try to find peace in looking the same everyday..i like to do too much to my hair
3. get into a regular healthy hair routine - stop being lazy when it comes to my hair
