In Style Makeover Magazine Discourages Curls

The current issue reports that if you post a straight-haired pic of yourself on a dating site, you will get twice as many hits as if you post a curly version!

It also says that 20 out of 22 kids prefer the straight-haired version when showed the same woman straight or curly.

I'm ashamed to admit that yes, this did dampen my feelings about transitioning. But when I told my husband he said, "Well, they're losers."

well kids are brain washed through the media, now think, how does the media portray this? i agree that straight hair looks shiny n healthy, but my darling boyfriend was first attracted to me cause of my red curly hair, n always says how boring it would be if i had straight hair like every other girl n if i have it up in a bun or pony tail, (even on bad hair days!) n if we go out somwhere he always takes it out n makes me shake it so there is same hope my fellow curlies!!

my hair: 3b, high porosity, high density and coarse hair (i think i finally figured that all out)
my hair loves conditioner only styling!
Oils and my own procuts are my hairs best friend
my hair goal length is bra strap length when curly.
