Optimal Nutrition for Healthy Hair

I'm curious if there's been any research or studies about what foods are; beneficial, harmful and necessary for hair health. I've been following a vegan diet for 5 years and worry about that a bit. My diet could be a lot better and I stopped using any supplements 3 years ago. I've been wondering for awhile if supplements actually get absorbed by the body, or just gets flushed out. Hopefully some members have looked into this and have some ideas.
Hm.. great topic. I am a phd writer, and I have my own beauty blog. I`m writing the research paper about the hair care... I will be thankful for the pieces of advice.
B12 would be important if you're vegan. There are supplements and also some brewer's yeast has it. There is debate about whether bacteria based or animal based is of actual benefit.

Biosil has also been known to help people produce collagen, also important for hair, skin, and nail health.

If I'm not mistaken, fenugreek is also beneficial for hair health (both externally and internally).

Nutrition is the most important thing for the health as well as our hair. As it is impossible to think of healthy body without providing nutrition, similarly hair is also in need for proper and balanced nutrition. My sister was suffering from heavy hair loss, so one of her friends suggested to go right here, which will help to provide nutrition to the hair and strengthen hair.
