Bumble and Bumble Pro-Concen Straight

Heyyy. Debating Bumble and Bumble treatment. Depending on your curl type, you will either get soft waves, loose curls, or straight hair. It contains no formaldehyde and is vegan. Did anyone get it yet? Wondering how it would affect 2B-2C hair....

My hair stylist just mentioned this stuff to me. She said it's supposed to be great - like a Keratin treatment. I want to try it.
Hair Type - wavy/curly, fine texture, thin/medium density
I was a hair model (for this service) at the salon I have been going to for 10+ years. I've been growing my hair out and had Keratin straightening treatment (which I loved) twice before, the last time about 8 weeks prior to b and b treatment. I didn't like what it did to my hair at all. The front (which is admittedly straighter than the back normally) turned out stick (a la Japanese straightening) straight while the back was still pretty curly- and two weeks out is curlier still while the front has seen little return to its normal curl. It's safe to say I hate my hair now and just sent my stylist and SOS message regarding this. It's supposed to wash out in 30 washes, so I wash my hair everyday and the reversion is slow. I don't know if the outcome would have been different if I hadn't been receiving the Keratin treatments previously. I'll keep you posted about my hair's recovery, but for now it's safe to say my hair is a hot mess. Unfortunately. One other note is the salon ran out of hot water which is how they're supposed to remove the product from my hair (they're not used to having all bowls running hot water for 10 mins at the same time, for multiple sets of clients, so this might have played a part too.) This was the first time the entire salon had done this, and I've always trusted them before this and have never been unhappy. So although I'm not pleased with the product it might be different on someone else's hair). I'm curious to see how people feel as the product is launched.
I want to shout from the rooftops to everyone I can, NOT to even think of getting this done. I was stupid and even though I saw mostly negative reviews I let a salon convince me that the reviews were inaccurate and that they had only happy customers with this service. I was clear that all I wanted was to defrizz and instead what I got was a 1985 perm solution that ravaged my hair, removed all my curl so I now cannot wash and go and HAVE to actually spend about an hour styling my hair which damages it more. My hair is more frizzy now because what was once just my hair texture is now frizz from hundreds of broken hairs sticking out. My hair is totally wrecked and looks more frizzy than ever while being lifeless and limp. Honestly, just read every negative review out there and disregard the positive ones because I really donít even believe them. ALL this is is a relaxer done by perm solution that dries the F out of oneís hair and so youíre not really curly or straight so you have to style your hair now with more products than if youíd just left the original texture of your hair stay but use products to mask it. The whole GD point was to have it smoothed; if I wanted to add more products to all the products I was already using then this was the right move. This is a one-way ticket to destroying your hair, stealing itís moisture, breaking it, taking the life out of it, and looking like a train wreck. I cannot believe salons are selling this garbage to people. WORST thing Iíve ever done to my hair, and I wished Iíd trusted the reviews and not the salon. Iím devastated and disgusted and am basically going to cut as much of it out as I can, keep washing it hoping something close to my previous texture ever returns (this texture is literally like cardboard that wonít absorb any conditioner) and Iím going to have to get extensions now in order to look half way decent and grow it back out. Never ever ever will I use a bumble and bumble product after this; I am completely boycotting them.
Wow this stuff sounds horrible. Just by doing a quick look at the 2nd ingredient i could see that "this ain't nothing but ultra perm!"

I am really sorry that this happened to you but this is why it is very important to check the ingredients before you try something and also do a strand test!

Not only do I warn EVERYONE not to use this awful substance, I am now trying to figure out how to get it to wash out of my hair asap.

Any input is appreciated. I really hope the 30 washes is legit; I can't wait to get it OUT!!!
Hi I'm so sorry to hear. How is your hair now, did it wash out?
I stupid enough not to read reviews before I tried it...the girl that sold it to me went on and on about how great the product was.
I applied this product 6 months ago and it has left relaxer like or even worse damage to my hair. It doesn't curl, it has split ends all the way to the top, fly away and it's soooo limpy. I am the type that deep conditions once a week and make sure I use heat protection and satin pillowcase but non of that has helped with the damage. I think a big chop might be the only solution
worse product ever!!!!!!
