Plopping with low porosity
I have been plopping daily for about 30 minutes, howvever it only serves to dry my to a not dripping wet state. Last night I did my weekly hair routine not long before bed, so I plopped overnight and I love the results. This is what plopping should be. Have any other low porosity curliest found they have to plop for 8 ours o get the great results? ( and I will share that my hair still isn't dry. I would hate to see it when my hair grows to my shoulders!)

What does plopping mean?

I cannot plop... The towel or cloth always sucks all the product out of my hair! I did find, however, that the curls held their shape, they just had terrible frizz. Maybe someday I'll figure out how to plop successfully, but for right now I avoid it. I am glad to hear it is working for you, though!

I recently got a microfiber towel and plopping is a little better, but I do find like JewelCurls that my hair is a little frizzy with the microfiber, but I do quite like the volume I get from the friz.

SwirlyCurly24, sorry for the delay. A great video on plopping. Hair Plopping 101 - YouTube

I plop with a tshirt before I put any product in. When I was doing it after, my hair would take forever to try and I would lose a lot of my leave in. My curls also get a chance to clump better.

Thanks. I'm going to try that.
