Need stylist recommendation at Devachan NYC for wavy hair

Hi everyone,
After resisting the curl for most of my life, I have finally decided to go "au natural." My hair is approx 1-2" below shoulder length and has layers from a previous "straight" hairstyle/cut.
I am planning on trying out Devachan this week and would like the recommendation of a stylist for wavy hair (2b) who won't insist upon cutting if all off and retaining the length.

Save yourself at least $100 and go to Jeffrey at Self Salon in Brooklyn. He's Deva trained and absolutely amazing. The salon in general is. I've never felt so relaxed and welcomed at what is aesthetically a super trendy Williamsburg salon.

Actually there are a number of stylists there who are if you can't get an appt with Jeff. He does his own scheduling and if you call to talk to the receptionist, she'll give you his reservation number.
