So many textures

I am new to being natural, and I'm having a hard time figuring out which products to use! I also have had a hard time figuring out my hair type . according to my patents I have about 3 different textures in my hair from waves to straight but no curl! wavy hair is common in my family , and I am 100% black! when wet my hair is wavy but roots are puffy and frizzy. when my hair is dry it becomes very frizzy! my hair does not style at all, braid outs and twist outs never work for me! any suggestions for a newbie with multiple textures and mainly wavy hair ?!So many textures-imageuploadedbycurltalk1372434880.795288.jpg
