I live in an up-coming small town and literally spent four hours driving around trying to find a salon for my type 2 curls. Every single stylist wanted to chop my hair up (one woman told me to go see the MALE BARBER that was working in her salon that day!). My 7th and final stop was at JC Penney. I had been there before and have seen Lorraine many times, but I wanted to find someone new. It just so happened that Lorraine was booked for the day and she referred me to Liz Reynolds. Liz is a senior designer for the salon. I had curls cascading all the way down to my rear, and Liz took a foot of hair off and I've never loved it more! I never even showed her a picture of what I wanted. I described what I wanted my hair to look like and she made some helpful suggestions. I couldn't be happier with my experience or my enw look!

I've been butchered before, so I went over a year between cuts. My boyfriend (who has stick-straight hair) got a pretty good cut from Terri, so I decided to try her. She has curly hair herself, so I figured she would know how to cut curls. I was right!
She did an excellent job on my hair. I would recommend her to any scissor-shy curly-heads in the Kanawha Valley. Just tell her what you want done to your curls and she'll do it and make it look good.
