My usual Miami stylist cut her hours, so I decided to try Vee at Impressions Salon in Miami Lakes.
Vee is very friendly. She has long, curly hair, which put me at ease. My 3C curls are at an unfortunate just-at-the-shoulder length when I pull it straight so I asked Vee to cut the layers "looser". I hated the circa-1984 soccer-mom poodle look I was stuck with, and felt confident with her skills...until she strongly suggested I apply relaxer to my crown to achieve what I wanted. I was very disappointed that without harsh chemicals she would be unable to do what I asked. My other stylist had no problem working with short curls, and charges less. As a rule, I never let anyone who suggests relaxer to ever touch my hair again, the same rule applies here. The cut was forgettable, Vee was nice (but worked a little too quickly and distractedly for my comfort) and the prices were reasonable. I'm going back to my other stylist.

GIRLS...Vee is the one. Well I will be returning to her. Not only did she know how to style my 3B hair but she had an amazing personality. Vee has curly hair herself so you really feel like you could relate to her. She knew exactly how to style and cut my hair. I went for Color and Cut. My hair is still to this day amazing. I love it!!! Vee is great! My curls have never been so bouncy and manageable.
