I went to Jina after finding her on this website. She gave me the best haircut I have ever. She took the time to show me how to style my hair and actually gave me the hair cut I wanted. the the standard dog ears or christmas tree cut which makes you look hideous! My hair has never looked better, my friend went with me to the appointment and Jina gave her tips to help her as well. She has since gotten her hair cut as well and loves it. Our other curly coworker went and her hair looks amazing as well. The three of us get plenty of compliments on how good our looks. We pass the word on Jina every chance we get. If you have curly hair and have ever had a bad hair cut trust me Jina is worth visiting. I can not praise her magical skills enough!

After MANY years of bad haircuts, and stylists promises of "knowing how to work with curly hair", I have finally found someone that really knows curly hair! My hair has never looked better, and it took one visit with her to repair the damage years of bad haircuts had done to my poor hair! Prior to meeting her I was skeptical of her, or anyone's curly hair abilities- I am happy to report that my feelings were wrong!! I highly recommend Jina- she is truly an artist!!! My hair has never looked better!! :)

I had my 2nd hair cut yesterday by Jina and she truly is the best. Before the cut Jina took the time to show me how to put my hair up the same way that she had hers, it looked great. Having curly hair herself (2b), she really knows how to cut curly hair. My hair has looked great since the 1st cut, I have had more comments on the cut, even that it makes me look younger. If you live in the Wilmingon, NC (I live in Surf City) area and have curly hair I suggest you try Jina. Her cut is well worth every penny of the $50 price.

Jenna is the best with curly hair. She has curly hair herself and knows what she is doing. She really understands how to cut, style, and color curly hair for each individual, based on body and face shape. She is amazing! Also, the salon itself is downtown in a very hip, trendy area and the staff is very friendly.
