Marie is amazing! She transformed my curls by cutting them dry (so we know exactly where they're going to sit) and hydrating my hair with DevaCurl products. I was able to completely stop using those drying hairsprays that I had become a slave to. Marie takes time to talk with you, get to know your hair, and show you how to properly use the products to get the best results. I've also had her color my hair on a number of occasions and it always comes out perfect. I went to another local salon that claims to do dry Deva cuts, but their stylists (more than one) cut my hair wet. It ended up being shorter than I wanted and the curls didn't seem to sit right-they were so busy wanting to straighten my hair (blow fry). Marie never once tried to convince me to go straight-she's always encouraged being naturally me!
She's great with being flexible to meet my schedule and gives me ample time for my appointments. I drive more than 30 minutes to see her and it's worth it every time!

Marie was a god send and I have gone to her since my first cut from her. When she told me she was going to cut my hair dry, I was so confused. I have been going to Marie for over two years and don't know how I survived without her. I love the Deva products and Marie colors my hair every 4-5 weeks to cover my grays. My hair has never been healthier since I started using Deva products and having Marie cutting my hair!

I trusted the old reviews and gave Greenhills a try this summer with the intention of asking fot a perm on the top of my head to help even out the curl. Well, I have to say that was a crazy idea and Marie has done the best job of anyone in all my 32 years of curly hair. I have always loved my curly hair and tried every new product out there, including the Ouidad cut and line of products and someone had half-taught me the Deva Curl system. Marie.. confidently took my hair and dry-cut it, taught me how to do it, dry it and what products to use. I cannot wait to go back again. I have never been happier with my hair and the curl, my husband is also constantly remarking on how great and healthy it looks.

I have a combination of curly/straight hair. I went to the salon for a style that I could manage w/o taking an hour. Marie was great, she convinced me to go with the natural curl of my hair. She spent time going over products and how to dry my hair. With that information and a great cut I now like my hair. I would recommend Marie to any one that has to deal with curls/waves. She'll have you leaving the salon loving your curls!

I've had unruly curly hair most of my life.
Trust me I have tried everything.
Feeling almost like my hair would never do anything I wanted, I came across Marie at Greenhills of Hockessin. who had alot of experience with curly hair considering she has it herself, she was trained by Devachan Salon in NY.
Right away she and the staff made me feel comfortable(like I knew
my hair was in safe hands)
Marie cut my hair both wet and curly so she could see where the curls would naturally fall. Then walked me through the styling process.
After leaving I felt as if, I had found the only stylist that could ever train me to take care what I thought was unruly, but with the right person and products,
I was elated, and will Absolutely return to Greenhills.

Re is awesome. She knew everything there is to know about curly hair. I learned so much about how to dry my hair and about what products to use...and I have never had a better haircut or haircut eperience. For someone who is really into their curls or for some with curly hair and is clueless - you have to go to Re at Greenhill's of Hockessin.
