I found Wendy at Hair World but she is now at The Salons @ 1890 Ranch in Cedar Park. She was the only one at Hair World to do a dry cut on curly hair. I love the way she cuts then styles my hair I have never loved my hair like I do now. Her new Salon is sooo much nicer. Please call her 512-814-9449. I know if you have never had a dry cut or used Deva Curl Products and have problem hair she is your girl. Will follow her any where!!!!!!!!

Nancy spent a lot of time with me explaining how to care for my hair and to make it look the best it can. She talked me out of cutting it all off. I'm 14 and in the high school band and it was too hard to put my hair into the hat, to put it up and take it down, and to just deal with it on a daily basis. Nancy showed me how to keep the curls looking good. She gave me a cut that is easy to care for and that can still go up into a pony tail. She's the best.

I found Nancy on this website after having horrible experiences with my 3b haircuts by other salons. I decided to give her a try. 3 years later..Im still getting haircuts by Nancy. I knew it was a good sign when I saw the CG books in her station. Her curly hair always looks beautiful, as she does CG method also. She washes my hair with natural conditioner only and always talks to me and looks at my hair before cutting. I have dubbed her the "hair whisperer" in my area and have referred clients with even straight hair to her! She is very knowledgeable and patient. The salon is 15 minutes from me so It is great and very affordable compared to Deva cuts I had in the past. Please give her a try if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed.

I've gone as long as 5 years between cuts because of such awful experiences. When I first found Nancy, I had gone almost 3. She took her time, talking to me about caring for my hair as well as expectations I should have for cuts and offering me resources, hair product information--in short, she was wonderful.
I drive from Abilene to Cedar Park (approx. 200 miles) to have Nancy cut my hair. It's worth the drive.

I have used naturallycurly.com for several yrs for finding and reviewing stylist. So when moving to Austin, I needed a new stylist here. I found high ratings for Nancy on here. She was great! She has naturally curly hair and understands all the pros and cons of working with it. She understood what I needed in a new style to enhance my curl and in general what I needed in my life for taking care of my hair. She listens, understands, and I felt very comfortable with her cutting my hair. I am very happy with my cut. Plus the salon is so close to me. I will be going back again for my next trim with Nancy.

Nancy is in a word, a g-dsend!! My hair while not super difficult to tame is still curly and several people have screwed it up. Nancy took the time to talk with me and find out what I wanted as well as made some great suggestions. After all was said and done my hair looked phenomenal. I live in College Station but I will totally make the drive to see Nancy.

I moved to the Austin area several years ago and have had a hard time finding someone to cut my very curly, thick, out-of-control hair. I went to Nancy on the recommendation of this site after another stylist at another salon left me in tears (for some reason, everyone seems to mess up my hair!). Nancy was SO patient and talked to me for a very long time before she even took out her scissors! She was very honest with me about the condition of my hair (the last stylist had REALLY messed it up) and I knew I could trust her, especially after seeing her beautiful long curly hair. I've been going to Nancy for a little over a year now and my hair has never looked better! It's grown out and my spiral curls are back! THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I would recommend Nancy to anyone with curly, hard-to-cut hair. If I ever find the time, I am taking my two little girls to her (even though they don't have curls!). Nancy is one of the few stylists I have had that truly understands how to cut curly hair!

There are not words for finding someone you trust with your hair! I have been in Nancy's "hair care" for I guess about 2 years now. I was pregnant with #1 when I found her (on this website) and #2 is almost 3 months old now. Needless to say my hair has been through the ringer with two pregos back to back. Nancy has been wonderful (and patient through my hormones!!) giving me tips and pointers on different things to try as my hair changed and promising me it would grow back as it fell out (which it has)!! Most recently I decided I needed a new cut. She completely got what it was I was asking for and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! I HIGHLY recommend Nancy for curly girls (or boys). WOW! I have been living in the Austin area for 2 years now, all along searching for a stylist like Nancy. I read a recommendation on this site for her and went for it. When I first saw her and her very own curly hair, I knew I was on to something. She asked lots of questions about what I wanted in a hair cut/style and even some lifestyle questions to get an idea of my personality and daily grind. A quick shampoo and a great cut later and I feel great; Like my hair finally has reached its potential in Austin. I recommend her to every curly-headed person around! Wonderful job and a neat person! The salon was great too, even though I didn't use their services this time. They even pamper your puppies! The salon is in Lakeway Plaza across from the mall between Toys-r-us and Family Christian Bookstore.

Nancy is the first stylist that actually celebrated the fact I have curly hair and helped me to enjoy it. Other stylists always tried to style the curl out of it. Viva La Curls!
