Please beware!!!
I went to Arthur because of the great reviews I read on this site. It turned out to be almost the worst cut I've ever had. I should've be warned by his remarks like "This is the beast we need to concur". I actually love my hair and don't think I need to concur it. The cut was a nightmare. He cut my hair straight at the bottom and 1 more straigh cut at the middle of the head, which of course created a dreadful pyramid once my haur was dry. To reduce the volume he did the Ouedad curving technique which clearly doesn't work for my hair type(I have 3b),he completely thinned out my hair and took away all the great curls. I had to wear ponytail since than for about 8 month, till the hair grew up and I went to another place to fix what he did. Please don't the same mistake as I did you have curls.

FANTASTIC! Kriya gave me my first Ouidad cut many years ago at a different salon and it was amazing. I went from a frizzy mop top to having manageable curls and she did it again the other night. Once the old salon stopped using Ouidad, I didn't know where to go for years, then I found A. Quinn and Kriya again. My hair is back to its tamed, beautiful, bouncy curls. She handled my hair with care and was so knowledgeable about Ouidad and curly hair in general. I can't wait for my next cut. Kriya really knows what she is doing, she is the only one I'd trust with my thick curls.

I have always been afraid of going to salons because no one can ever cut my hair the correct way, never mind style it properly. When I found AQuinn, I read a lot of reviews about the salon and figured...why not, good reviews must be a good place. I traveled over an hour to see Arthur and instantly I knew I would be in good hands. He took the time to talk to me about my hair, how to shampoo and how to properly apply products. He was very gentle and after taking the time to really understand MY hair, he gave it a WONDERFUL cut. He was so funny and such a sweetheart. I was skeptical at first but I love my new cut. My curls are soft, defined and not frizzy...the products he used were the key....PERFECT!! Both my sister and my boyfriend noticed a huge change and my boyfriend loves the new look.
I already booked a color treatment with Arthur next week. He is by far the best and my sister and myself will travel 2 hours just to see him. Thanks Arthur for finding my curls and giving me a new look!!! xoxox
