My husband, Gordon, likes to go to Chinatown on Sundays for dim sum. One Sunday he brought home an almond cookie for me. As I tested it, I could taste the individual flavors in the cookie and I wondered what those notes would smell like together. The goal of the scent was not so much to recreate the scent of that cookie, but more the feeling I felt receiving it. That warm feeling of receiving a thoughtful gift from someone I love who loves me. The warm feeling you feel, knowing that you are loved. Hence, Almond Cookie is not overly sweet or gourmand and is more powdery, soft and warm.

I LOVE the texture. I LOVE how it is rich and light at the same time. Moisturizes like a heavy-hitting body cream, but with a light texture that glides onto the skin. I love how easy it is to rub it in and I love the dewey feel it leaves on the skin. Soufflé is gorgeous to me. Perfect all the time.
