i couldnt be HAPPIER with myself!! I QUIT SMOKING EXACTLY 2 weeks ago and i wanted to make an announcment today when it felt more official.

To anyone struggling with wanting to quit: PLEASE DO IT!! Its WORTH it. and it THE CRAVING GO AWAY!! I know at the time it feels like you will never stop THINKING and a cigarette, but YOU WILL!! I have TOTALLY relearned my life without a cigarette. It feels wonderful.

Now, help me celebrate myself. I need ideas. I want to buy myself something or do something fun and celebratory but i want more ideas to pick from. So far i have:
1.buy a vibartor (dont ask...i just want one)
2.go skating
3.buy a bicycle (im hoping ill get this as a gift)

Definitely all 3 - and take yourself out for a really, really good meal with all the money you aren't spending on cigs.

I knew you would. Love to say I told you so.
Umm, buy shoes?!!!

Congratulations and keep it up! A friend quit recently and his words were "that sh*t was gross" now that he's no longer caught up in it.
congratulations!!!! You are already two weeks healthier, and as far as I'm concerned, you deserved everything on your list, and more. Maybe treat yourself now to the list, then start saving for something big at six months or a year. Again, congrats.

If you don't normally go, treat yourself to a mani/pedi or spa day. Maybe a nice massage as well.

Congrats! I'm really surprised you feel smoke free after only 2 weeks. It usually takes people at least 30 days.

From Michael Berg:

Every person has a unique connection to the Creator that can never be extinguished, and every person has a great soul that can manifest important things in our world. To make a person feel less than they are because of something inside themselves, be it faith, race, or sexual orientation, is the greatest sin of all."
Whatever you buy, do not buy the vibrator. You may need a cigarette afterwards. Just kidding!

Congratulations! Stay strong.

Every woman needs a good vibrator!! I am so loving all the suggestions. I'm going to use some of them to motivate myself to make some changes.
