Mine is initials of first middle last name plus number 2 as set up for me at work as a username. Number 1 was taken already.
Just curious, how did everyone come up with their usernames? There's always some interesting story/reason behind them. They're like puzzles.

Mine is fairly simple. My first name is Sara, spelled without an "H." There's another Sarah in my class and my mother (an instructor) called me "Sara sin hache" and her "Sara con hache" for a little while. So I just took that, but in English. Also, whenever I have to spell my name over the phone I literally just say, "Sara, no 'H.'"

Deda is a childhood nickname (or one of its variations) and the Chan I added whimsically because I had been watching a Japanese cartoon or two at the time.
When I was in college, people would joke that I was a Munchkin because I'm 4'11." That later became Queen of the Munchkins, then QueenMunchy (which is my name on other boards), then Munchy.

My cat's name is Mojo.

We started calling him MojoDojo as a nickname.

Am happy that am nappy and am more content about my hair so I show it off more

when i joined in 1999 this was the first board i was on ever. i used my real first name. pretty simple but then for a bit of anonymity i changed it to luvmylocs. at the time i had locs and i loved them. i cut the locs, kept the screen name. now i have locs again (and probably always will) but i love my screen name so wouldn't ever change it.

I started as curlymix. I chose it because my curls are 3A and 3B so I'm a curlymix. Then I mentioned being called trollop by an ex once and we made a thread about words like trollop. Saria (I think) mentioned that she then saw curlyminx when I posted instead of curlymix. I thought it was funny so I changed it.

I'm surprised that no one had been that name yet.

Mix of 3s, thick, coarse, medium porosity

Current hair styling technique: rake with a scrunch at the end. (works with my coarse hair)

Interesting stories guys, keep em coming. It's cool to see all of the creativity around here.

Just to toss out, I once had the username "saran_wrap" because like I said my first name is Sara, last name initial is "N." It was for class so I just wanted my username to be my real name, but thought saran_wrap sounded funnier.

I have excellent recall of most things and I'm often very quiet. The result is that I often remember subtle details that people don't remember me even being present for. A boyfriend once told me I was like a cosmic fly on the wall. I was looking for a screen name at the time....

Mine isn't very creative. I am reddish blond going white so it looks golden instead of red and white and it's sort of curly, sort of wavy and I just let it do its thing.
Junior high nickname. It was either that or "pooch."

Hated it then, but now it doesn't bother me.

I was running out of names (this is my 5th), getting bored with the old one and... you know the phrase, "XYZ is the new black." Well, I wanted a new screen name and I'm Black. There ya go. There's a bit more to it, but those are the basics.

I am the new Black.

Mine is straightforward as well "colochita" = "curly girl" in Spanish (but with endearing tones), spelled with a k because my first name is Katherine.

My name is from the Blues Brothers' song, "Rubber Biscuit."

I'm a fan of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, and Nynaeve is my favorite character (and also one of the names of the Lady of the Lake from Arthurian legend). The 77 is my birth year.

When I was a child I was intrigued by Rapunzel's long hair in the fairytale. I always thought my hair was thin and messy because everyone in my (straighthaired) family said so and couldn't handle it. When short my hair just stood straight up like being electrified or something. So I decided to grow it very long until my hair got weight down enough to look straight, and I wore it like that (tailbone) for years before I found out that it is wavy-curly. But even then I got comments from family that my hair wasn't suited for being that long.

Even now it's been cut to a couple of inches above waistlength, I love the name Rapunzel, cause it represents my struggle with other people's opinions about my hair. And me being proud of my hair.
