the only plus side of boobs is that I don't have to use my arms to eat or drink. I just put it on my boobs, recline a little and bam right in the kisser.

I think I'm going to put an ad up for a man who likes big women, who is rich and will marry me. And then I will gain 600 lbs and never leave my house and eat my feelings forever. It's the only way to live. It's the only way I can be happy.
All of this!!!

i’m a guy, and i need feminism. Not “men’s rights.” feminism. Here is why.

Everything that mras talk about that men can’t do or are socially punished for arise directly and immediately from misogyny. Not “misandry.” misogyny.

Whether i am expressing my emotions, playing with children, baking, having sex wherein i am penetrated in any way, wearing the wrong color, talking the wrong way, moving the wrong way, being sexually harassed/assaulted, or paying too little attention to looking like i’m not paying attention to how i look, when society punishes me or derides me or marginalizes me for these things, it is happening because they are things women, not men, are expected to do, and our society at large ****ing hates women.

Has that sunk in yet?

Men, can you even think of a single goddamn way you have ever been mocked that wasn’t related to something that a misogynist society sees as feminizing? Even when large men are mocked for their bodies, they are referred to as having “man-boobs,” for ****s sake.

How do you expect to improve those things with “men’s rights?” what right are you fighting for? I can tell you what i think you’re fighting for. I think you’re fighting for the right to contain and control misogyny, and direct it back at women, where you think it belongs. You want to maintain your privilege but erase its consequences, and that’s why your movement is farcical; it’s a big ****ing feedback loop. How do you expect men to be free from the peripheral effects of misogyny when you refuse to even ****ing believe it’s real?

Just three more days and I'm on vacation. No more hearing people going at it. No thinking about everyone but me going at it. Calgon take me away!
I had the strangest dream that I was sleep posting in here, and obviously absolutely none of it made sense. "Birds laugh in the moonlight, but only when it rains tears of purple teddy bears" type gibberish. I had to check and make sure I actually didn't do it. Haha
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

Out of any topic. And sorry in advance...

Well, I like this group.
They ve been very critiziced here, because they sing in English, not in Spanish.
I like the little girl's voice. And her brothers' music.

Wow. I had myself all calm and okay with things and then I decided to go get water from the kitchen instead of the nearby bathroom sink and was blindsided by my dad's presence there. Of course he then had to launch into another rendition of Worst Possible Things to Say to Anyone with Depression Ever. Now I'm trying not to cry, begging myself to feel worthwhile and believe in the progress I've made and finding myself unable to do it, so mad that I went out there without considering the possibility of the lurking troll under the bridge and even madder that my dad has *secretly* been medicated AND gone to therapy for depression in the past and has THE most f***ed up views about mental illness I have ever seen. When he's not the one having the problem, all you have to do is just stop having it, and you are a terrible person for continuing to exist in a manner that displeases him.

My friend and I are going to Barnes & Noble again today. We always stay until it closes. I wish we had done this on Saturday because later today, my dad will be miles and miles away and that constant threat will be gone and it sort of feels like a waste of an escape.

I want to run away with that awesome dude Saria quoted upthread.

When I joined this site as a teen, I know I made a beeline for threads marked "ADULT" - and honestly, it was often about just wanting to learn valuable information that I couldn't get elsewhere. Like, it took seeing a picture of an unrolled condom in an issue of Seventeen for me to know they DID unroll and weren't just like a little hat or something. I'd wondered before how they stayed on. I liked being able to duck into an "ADULT" thread and find out how people talk to their partners and how actual people feel about different birth control methods and stuff. My sex ed in high school wasn't even the "SEX IS BAD YOU'LL DIE DON'T THINK ABOUT BIRTH CONTROL" kind, but their approach to talking about birth control was basically to list the types as if we already knew what they were.

...It's a siggie.
I don't care that Pink has had a sh*t day.

You may have storm fatigue and may be getting sick of hearing about it, but the people out in Coney Island, Seagate, the Rockaways or a few other hard hit areas can't exactly choose forget about it. Not when their houses are damaged, without running water and without power still and will take months or in some cases, years to recover. Unless you're in that situation, STFU.

{{{{w_s}}}} I swear whenever I read your posts about people making your struggle with depression more difficult my mind goes "noooooooooo". I wish you could get out of there.
Here's a pic from the photo shoot I did the other day:

On the one hand, I'm annoyed I didn't take advantage of the 20% off down coupon to order this, along with the other coat I finally ordered, but I did tell myself I would not spend more than that until I came back from the DR.
But really, the moment I come back from DR, you know I'm gonna pull the trigger on this.

Then I'm going to try out what they've said I could do and send them back my other coat so they can recycle it.
I've been cleaning all last week to make up for the lack of cleaning while I was in class, and to prepare for Thanksgiving. But all this cleaning - now I'm over it. I don't even want to wash my floor before Thursday. My least favorite chore. I probably won't.

It's not a boudoir shoot... A local boutique asked me to model some clothes for a series of ads they are doing. I modeled 6 outfits altogether.

This is the only pic the photographer has sent me so far.

A 20-year-old man is accused of buying assault rifles and more than 400 rounds of ammunition in a plot to commit mass murder at a Twilight screening and a Missouri Walmart.
Blaec Lammers' plot was foiled because his mother alerted police, according to court documents.
The woman told police her son had bought weapons similar to those used by a gunman inside an Aurora, CO, movie theater showing the premiere of the latest Batman movie. Twelve people died and 58 were injured in Colorado.
"His mother further stated that, with the opening of the new Twilight movie, she was concerned that Blaec Lammers may have intentions of shooting people at the movie," according to the court documents.
After he was taken in for questioning, Lammers admitted he had bought the firearms with the intention of shooting up the movie theater in Bolivar on Sunday. However, he later decided to also target a Walmart because he feared running out of ammunition and he would have access to additional ammunition inside the Walmart, according to court documents.

he later decided to also target a Walmart because he feared running out of ammunition and he would have access to additional ammunition inside

, this is the part of the story that stuck out the most to me.
The mother contacted police on Thursday. In 2009, Lammers claimed he wanted to fatally stab a Walmart employee and followed the employee around the store before he was contacted by officers, according to court documents.

Lammers was not convicted in state court in association with this. Before Friday, he had only faced speeding tickets.
"Blaec Lammers stated that he had a lot in common with the people involved in (recent mass shootings). Blaec Lammers stated that he was quiet, kind of a loner, had recently purchased firearms and didn't tell anybody about it, and had homicidal thoughts," according to court documents.
but why?

According to court documents, Lammers had stopped taking medication for a mental condition when he began plotting the mass killings.
Law enforcement officials and others have commended Lammers' mother for quickly contacting authorities about her concerns.

Those inside Lammers' home drove away Friday afternoon without comment to KCTV5.
Ashley Miller, who lives in a nearby town, told the Associated Press she has known Lammers for about a year and described him as "one of the sweetest guys I had ever met" but "very emotional," noting he would periodically stop talking to her.
