Say It. I Dare You.

when I read posts like that, I never want to get married.

All I ever hear is how someone hates their MIL, or their SO's family. I get you don't have to like them, but jeez you guys sound so negative about them (Not you cympreni, but over the course of time anyone who brings up their MIL it's usually to complain of sooo much dislike)

I'm never getting married cause if no one likes my mama they need to go hell. Right then and there. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAAHHA

I love my mommy.

And then I don't want to get married because I don't want to have to deal with not liking someone's family. Which I know I will, cause I hate everyone.
Can't win for losing.

forever alone.

Fifi tried to choke a b**ch on more than one occasion. The same brothers second wife is much better. I do love her but we still don't completely click. We are very different people. (she is anti gay/anti tattoo/anti many things that don't phase me)

The other brother married a stuck up woman from a rich and racist family who is not known for thinking things through and instructs her children to look through our drawers, closets, under beds and couches to see if they find a dust ball. They report back to her if they do. She is odd, and has taught my nephews to do very weird things when they visit people.

The holidays are always interesting. Lol.

Out of 3 different sister in laws none of them have ever been willing to spend Christmas day at our house. Christmas is for their family. My father begged for just one Christmas until until he died, and no one would compromise.

This has all made me question marriage too. Haha
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

I asked Jesus. Since this is his birthday month, he's feeling generous even toward such a heathen as yourself.

I do love hearing people say they have great mother/father in laws and sister/brother in laws. It's much nicer than my stories of being questioned by the police, at 16, for 2 hours, while I gave a statement about my first one :-/

I don't know if it was the stress of commuting on horrible roads, or something I ate, but my stomach feels like it is going to explode.

I hope it feels better by this evening, because this stupid snowstorm made it so I couldn't run yesterday, and now I have to run for three hours after work today, which I cannot do if my stomach hurts too badly to stand up.

Hooray, Monday.

Mexican singer Jenny Rivera died in a plane crash, and the news are obviously all over it.
So of course today on FB someone liked a status about how six other people died, and why does nobody care about them, everyone is equal etc.. Blah, blah, blah. They're talking about Jenny because she was famous, and people know who she was, and it doesn't make you "deep" to go on a rant about how much you care about everyone else. It's not that difficult a concept to grasp.
Man, it's amazing how good the absence of pain can feel after something has been hurting for a while.

They're re-running old telenovelas and Alma Rebelde is on. Among truly tragic things is why more men don't have Eduardo Verastegui's beautiful, flawless face. Also, the glasses he sported in this novela (to make him "nerdy", lol) actually look really hot on that flawless face.

LOL, a character named Zeus. And Eduardo Verastegui takes his bad acting double time, playing a character plus his twin brother. Double eye candy, obvs!

Everyone in my house is sick. Everyone has fevers and is coughing. Poor D1 has had a 103 fever and been throwing up all night. I give up.

This novela.
*main characters walk into the same room* *cue love theme*

Main female character fakes foot injury. Verastegui's hopeless engineering nerd aids her. Cousin comes by and is told to get some medicine and that "I'm in good hands". "I'm glad you said you're in good hands."
"I am. And don't you like my foot?"
DYING. I shouldn't be surprised seeing as how eventually Aracely Arámbula shows up in this, and all her novelas have a high hilarity rate.
Out of all the WTFery on the internet, that one that most makes me want to bash my head against a wall is when lay people try to school professionals in whatever field by telling them to google something.

Research doesn't mean what you seem to think it means.

Greek feta? Why does feta need 'Greek' in front of it. It comes from Greece. If its not from Greece it's not feta! FFS.
Fat does not make you fat. It's actually pretty important.
There's Bulgarian and French feta, too.
She tells her kids to come to your house and look for dust??? Geez. Even if my MIL had issues with my house's cleanliness, she'd never say anything. And I'm not the best housekeeper, so I'm sure she could find something to find fault with. Eh, can't worry about that stuff.

I don't dislike my in-laws ALL the time, just when i have to spend extended periods with them, which is really true for anyone. I'm not a big people person in general. Fortunately, DH has set some boundaries with his parents and they no longer just stop by and/or offer their opinion without being asked (usually).

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
