As of now, our "major snow storm" is kind of a dud. Maybe 2-4.

I just saw Northern VA is likely to have over a foot. Stay safe, everyone.

Of course, the snow will be starting here while I'm at work. So after a long night, I get to go out there and clean off my car, and attempt to drive on fresh snow!

Ugh my boss lives like a block from the office so weather won't hinder his commute. Plus he's like oblivious to life (as I've said before) outside of his own.

Some of my friends are only working a half day I could use a half day to do some homework/apply for jobs

He's so weird. Wouldn't you get tired eating out (lunch and dinner) everyday? Especially eating out at the same three places? Especially if those three places are owned by the same person so it's pretty much just one place?

He's also got baby-of-the-family syndrome (on top of the napoleon complex) and now I'm terrified that my baby sister will end up like that.

And don't forget, after foot modeling, you promised to fix me a Vietnamese meal of some sort. I will send you off with a batch of Italian cookies in payment. : )

I'm practically done with my bearded beanies for my sister's family. Beards are all done and I'm almost done with the boys' hats. Then on to my sister's and BIL's hats. They have no idea and I can't wait to mail it. I have a couple of things to get out in the mail this week. Fingers crossed that all of my packages (yes. packages) get to their locations!!!!!

You know, I'm glad you mentioned that, Scrills. OBB has a sister in Mayfield Heights.

I'm up for a short road trip.

If we could somehow blend our stinking hot weather with all your snow we might all end up with the perfect user-friendly climate.

I work nights and when I'm in bed in the day I leave a little note in the window next to the door that says there's a shift-worker sleeping and to please call back another time. I can only assume that the heat is addling people's brains as yesterday I had not one but two parcel delivery men knock on said door and wake me up. Not amused. And the parcels weren't even for me.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

My parents' cat, Amos, who we got at 7/8 weeks old when I was in elementary school, is not doing well. I remember when he came to us in the "cat lady's" pocket. (she ran a cat rescue.) He was so tiny. They are thinking he only has a day or two. :'(
