Minxy, I don't have much experience with baby teeth. What I would check for is gum inflammation or irritation in the area. Does it hurt her when you touch the tooth or teeth in question? Is the gum beneath each tooth healthy and pink? It may be that she simply needs to have them pulled.

Sometimes pibbles drool, too, which could be due to an uneven lip line. Sadie-Kate is my only drooler, and she has minor lip sag.

Lastly, are the teeth in question already loose?

Her puppy teeth are sharp. I don't spend that much time in there because she will nip at me, but no, I don't think that they are loose. I want them to fall out already though. Like her other 4.

She is quit the drooler. She loves to drink water and then come over to me to drool all over my work clothes. I love her so much.... drool-ella. I make up names for her all the time. Lately she is big belly Belly. I swear that she is growing like a weed too! When she first came home, I used a separator in her crate to keep it snug for her. Now the separator is completely out and she can't stretch out completely in there (meaning with her legs stretched completely back and her face forward. I knew I was going to have to get the largest crate at some point, but its feeling sooner than later.

Mia and Sadie have a huge crate. It's absurd. Takes up the center of my kitchen and is annoying. However, they need it, and I've carpeted it in blankies and old wool (they love wool). Both can stretch out. I may move it someday.

If she's not yet housebroken, she may still need the smaller crate.

Curlyminx - I posted on the other forum about looking into joining fb as it's just too too quiet here and there and I miss people too. Sigh, what to do, what to do? It goes against my every instinct!

Thanks for the PMs, Rural and Lotsa! I think yours got kicked out, though, Lotsa - my box was 100% full. D'oh.

Minxy, I've missed you, too! Hee, I like that Bella's ear-heart portends doggie mischief. "I wuv u thiiiiiiiiiiis mu--whatdoesthisbuttondo?!" And I am definitely sticking around, both here and on the other forum, though I am going to cave and get in on the FB action, too. I'm not going to use my actual FB account that people IRL like my parents know about, though - it's going to be a special account that is only for hanging out with the curlies and will react with scathing disdain to any attempt the site makes to include it in its usual purposes. No pressure, but if you do the same, I bet you can shun the usual Facebook-y things, too!

I like that your list included "the Springs" and "the Reds" because my brain also does this when thinking of posters. [Wild~hair and I are the Wild Ones. If you could see me right now, this would make you laugh SO hard.]

...It's a siggie.
And now I shall post a random media-based rant because that's how I roll. This rant also relates peripherally to Joss Whedon so...destiny?

OMG, I don’t even know what is happening in my brain with regards to Loki in The Avengers. Tom Hiddleston’s face is just so fascinating - at least when it’s framed by dyed black hair and eyebrows. Images of his usual look don’t seem so interesting to watch. This is Nostalgia Critic’s fault. He’s all, “Why do people think Loki’s hot?” and I’m like, “People think Loki’s hot?” and then someone mentions in the comments the possibility that the Tesseract controlled him and made him more evil than trickster-y and this shows in the color of his eyes and THEN I remember my dad put it on the DVR to hassle my mom about watching it so I go and watch his scenes again while nobody's around to judge me.

I’m so entertained by this dude’s facial expressions, I can’t even – it’s not like they’re over the top (to the contrary, he's quite good) and hence funny or his face is so super sexy that I revel in its every movement. [Or at least it didn’t start that way. What if I’m conditioning myself to be a Loki fangirl?!] I just can’t. stop. staring. Like when he’s all ‘Oh noes, big brother’s coming to put me in time out! D:’ and his eyebrows go all triangle-y, which is blink-and-you-miss-it. I seriously just rewound to watch that AGAIN.

I like scared Loki. Am I a sadist? No, I also like ‘teehee, power is fun!’ Loki…ugh. Black haired Tom Hiddleston, just, like, let me watch your facial muscles move. And somehow change your clunky lines because I keep having to skip those and then you have so little screentime to amuse me with.

Now that I know that Loki was a trickster character in the comics (like he is in mythology, I think? Not real in-the-know about the Norse stuff, I must admit) rather than a straight-up villain, I actually want to believe this random fan theory. About a character I had no attachment to, introduced to the mainstream movie-goer in a movie I have not watched more than like 2 minutes of, and who didn’t even catch my eye until his eyes became a bit of trivia to obsess over. Which is a bit of a bother, because I do not see the color change the internets have described. When are his green eyes supposed to appear to contrast the “icy blue” Tesseract-tinted eyes? I’ll buy the rage-heightening thing, but IDK about the eye color thing. Even if it’s there somewhere, maybe Hiddleston’s eyes just tend to change color with the lighting the way mine do. ETA: I think I may have seen it! OMG no sleep we can figure this out when the sun's not in the process of rising.

In any case, as far as fan attitudes go, I like “we think this thing known to control people was partially controlling him” far better than “we think this guy who we see killing for fun is a misunderstood woobie” because…no. Just no.

Oh my goodness. Have I mentioned that while I liked The Avengers, I didn’t find it super amazing or anything and still have no desire to rewatch the other scenes? Good grief.

...It's a siggie.

I miss you! I've missed everyone!!! Its so lonely. Some curlies are around, but not the usual brimming that I love. I'm suspecting that this is all a ploy to get me (yes, its all about me) to get a FB.

I'm so glad to see you!

And Bella Pupparella is a doll!! That little heart, I've learned, is to let me know when she is about to get into something.... Silly Belly Girl. She's actually around 3 months and has been losing teeth like crazy. 4 down. Who knows how many to go.

Actually, now that I'm talking about her. Claudine, maybe you have some experience with this or anyone really. Bella was a stray that a couple found. She must have been just an itty bitty thing, like a month and a half/two months or something. Anyhow, when they found her, she had an infected tooth. They took her to the vet and she was put on antibiotics. She has been given the all clear, and she seems fine, but she does have a baby tooth that is clearly bad, and a back tooth that is in pretty bad shape. Do those fall out? Anyhow, that isn't my real question. (And I will consult with her vet about all of my questions... I just thought I would ask here first because it has come to mind.) Her left side seems a bit droopy. Not all the time, but her bottom lip clearly seems to hang. Is that because of damage from the bad tooth or is there something else going on?

Well..... please stay w_s. Too many curlies gone. Hopefully Saria will hear about your posts and come back to at least 'like' something.

I miss everyone. Murrtles, Saria, the Springs, the Reds (I know RCW is still around, but either she isn't really posting or I must be missing all of her posts because I rarely see her), IROC... oh! So many!

But I would ask the vet about yours specifically bc she had dental problems.

Ahhh..... I can breath easy that you have returned to post.

I've been lagging the last couple of weeks on the other site. Mostly because I have a thread I think I need to make and I'm avoiding it. Evidently my knowing that I want to say something keeps me from posting. Even though no one else knows I'm avoiding. Its all me and in my head.

Anyways. I'm glad to read your post. Its mostly gibberish to be as I haven't the slightest idea who Loki is, but reading it always makes me happy (I also confess to reading your Buffy watchalongs even though I've never seen the show.).

OK. I'm going, I'm going. I like your covert FB idea. I may toy with that for the weekend. And if I actual crack the seal on the laptop....EVER.... I might actually create one. But I might need a refresher PM from someone about how to find the curlies once I'm there.

My mom is home from babysitting duties in SF next week. I'm so excited to see her. She wants to come over and visit with me. She isn't into dogs so she doesn't know about Big Belly Belly yet. She will learn. I have a lot of house work ahead of myself though. I want everything to look perfect when she comes over. And I need to get everything done this weekend since I have a ton of laundry to do next week (need to get paid to dry my clothes... well the towels and bedding. I don't mind hang drying my stuff.).

Anyhow. I want to grow stuff in my yard. But first I need to get a fence around the lime tree because this little doggie thinks that she can hang out under there scratching under the fence to the blue pit next door who cries when she sees her. Shes a pup still and it took her a while to get used to just the other two... so she needs to get used to Bella, but with Bella needing to take it easy with her belly for at least another week, and the fact that I don't want her digging under the fence, I need to take action NOW. I scratched the **** out of my back getting her out from under there and I'm not trying to do it again. Bloody painful back isn't fun.

Then I want to create a little garden with tomatoes, herbs, lettuce, potatoes, zucchini and hopefully some peppers and carrots but I need to figure out a good deterrent for gophers. Those ****ers are everywhere. Above-ground? I don't know. I need to do research. But I want to get a little something going.

Thanks SL5k. I'm sure the vet will put me on the right track.

I've got an appointment for the week after next. The vet isn't necessarily close, but she is the best that I've seen. And even though I've only been a dog owner by way of relationship, I've been to quite a few different vets. And this vet is awesome. She really has a way about making you and your dog feel right. And they always make time if you have an emergency. So I'm willing to drive over to her to see her to get great care.

I really don't want to take shower and go out, but I have to. I have to go by the drugstore, yet again. Showering seems to make my rash itch more.

I also need to return some movies, and get another amazon gift card. Stoker is available to rent! I've been waiting for that one to come out.

Oh well, the quicker I do this the sooner I can come back home and put on a Laura Ingles nightgown. I have been living in those. I could really use an extra fabulous Helen Roper muumuu about right now.

I agree with your choice, Minxy. Finding a vet you truly trust is not easy. The first vet who saw Polly after the injury was awful! When I insisted on a second opinion, she called the humane society on me. While that turned out okay (I actually made friends with the humane officer, and now feel comfortable referring people who need help with placements or who come to me asking for help for animals in bad situations), the sight of him in my yard while I was worried sick about Polly nearly gave me a heart attack.

Stick with someone you know and trust.

Ah. I love the Goat's Milk Lotion I just picked up. I know GM soap is the closest match to the natural PH of a humans skin, and I love it, so I picked up some more in hopes that it would help. I didn't know the same company made a matching fragrance free lotion.

It's lovely!

I really hate it when people are late. Sitting at Panera waiting on a friend who is always late.
16 minutes, she just arrived "I was over at such and such's house, we were watching Game Of Thrones"
I don't care what you were doing, you're late, and an apology would have been nice.....

Perri, your story reminded me of a friend I had years ago who was constantly late. Just reading that got me riled up all over again!

The brand I buy is Canus and it's Lait de Chevre Goat's Milk soap and now the lotion. It is fantastic! I have not itched once since I put it on.

PS- The lotion comes in a pump bottle that reminds you of a small bottle of milk. Too cute!

OMG!!!! My sister just texted me that she is coming out for the weekend to surprise my parents!!!! I haven't seen her since we went to the Bahamas in April, and my parents haven't seen her or my nephew since last summer.

She's driving out from New Brunswick tonight, and will be here tomorrow afternoon. My parents have both called in the last 10 minutes about a dinner party tomorrow and their big annual Canada Day party on Sunday and it was so hard not to say something!!! Plus mention the extra dog and people they're going to have to house

So flippen excited!!!!!
