Best Toddler Product to Reduce Shrinkage?

My daughter is 2 1/2 years old and is a 4b. I've tried a variety of products on her hair in order to achieve various pig tails, pony tails and knotted styles, but I there are times when I want for her scalp to rest. What is a good product to use when her hair is wet to achieve great curl definition and reduce shrinkage so that her curls can hang loose rather than retreat back into a TWA?

I've tried Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding and Baby Buttercreme on her when she was younger, as well as Mixed Chix Leave-In Conditioner. Maybe I need to re-visit them, but I'm open to some new suggestions.

What I Am:
4a with 3b tendencies, Wife, SAHM, busy, busy, busy!

What I Use:
Tresemme Flawless Curls Shampoo and Conditioner
Tresemme Flawless Curls Hydration Lotion

Where to Find Me:

Hi, maybe you should try the KCCC. I hear good things about it giving great curl definition and cutting down on the shrinkage. I'm suprised the miss jessies products did not work. Did you smooth down when you applied the product to her hair?
Curls by Sisters Smith Wet Set Hair pudding is a nice moisturizing defininer with hold and it dries with less shrinkage than other products. I use it over Qhemet Honeybush tea hair gel (a very soft moisturizing gel).
My blog -

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.
Here's a suggestion.

Since she's only 2 1/2 why not just let her hair do it's natural thing? If she has hair shrinkage, there's not a whole lot that you can do at her age without it being too much for her scalp. The last thing you want is to irritate her scalp because that's the key to healthy formation of hair.

Find the sheen product you like best and let her wear it natural off/and on. Her hair will grow healthy and strong and by the time she is 4 or 5 you can do more about shrinkage and her scalp will be able to take it better.
