Can anyone recommend a good natural shampoo for low porosity hair?

What it says in the title really. My conditioner isn't bad, it's a cheap dollar store argan oil one and it feels good and leaves my hair nice and soft. I have a shampoo in the same range which as I usually follow it up with the conditioner balances things out. It has sulfates in it but from things I've been reading I think I do need those as low po hair doesn't respond well to just co washing generally it seems and mine is also medium to coarse thickness, high density and overall slightly wiry. I suspect what's drying out my hair is added protein in the shampoo which of course my hair doesn't need, so I'm thinking about going natural with shampoos so recommendations for recipes for hair like mine would be appreciated.

I personally tend to despair a little of the people who are like, 'oh no, chemicals!' um, yes.... Those are the building blocks of life itself. but I'm sure you can agree it gets somewhat tiring to have to keep checking, 'does x screw up my hair?' only to discover that the thing on the bottle with the long name is actually just food colouring or something. so from that point of view I'd like to try natural recipes as I think that may help knowing that I've chosen things to do the job they're meant to and there's nothing extraneous that I have to cross check about how it effects hair. In short, thoughts and advice much appreciated.
I have low-po hair that is also protein sensitive. My hair is fine, though. I've had good luck with the Intelligent Nutrients Harmonizing shampoo and conditioner. In the winter, when I can handle something heavier, I've had pretty good luck with the Curl Junkie Smoothing Daily Conditioner. Key for me in the winter is to deep condition once a week.

You could also check out the Jessicurl Gentle Lather Shampoo. I had a sample once and it seemed really gentle.

I can tolerate a little protein about once a month. My favorite product for protein is the Oribe Cleansing Creme. It is a co-wash, but it really cleans my hair well. It also helps the wave. But I have to be careful not to use it too often, or I'll get protein overload.

I use a sulfate about once a month to clean off buildup. For that, I use the Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo.
Low poo: Intelligent Nutrients (IN) Harmonizing; Oribe Cleansing Creme

Normal- to low-porosity 2a/b baby-fine hair with a coarse section at back of head
