40 day challenge w/out chocolate!

I am doing a 40 day challenge for a religion class at school and one thing that I am giving up chocolate. It is horrible and was wondering if anyone had any recipes for non-chocolate things to take my mind off that is beyond the usual.

Shoot for the moon and even if you miss you'll still be among the stars.
I wish I could give up chocolate...even for a week...let us know how you do.

There's a great caramel dipping sauce for fruit that you can buy from the store. I also use it to dip pretzels. It's really good!

there's my caramel corn recipe! it's super tastey and super easy!
i try to snack on that because i eat less of that then i do say a bowl of M&M's or dove milk chocolate! hehehee

3A Once again on the quest for BSL healthy curly hair....
Made these last len when I gave up chocolate. They're more addictive than chocolate brownies (And I do love chocolate brownies)
The recipe is a mixture of a couple of recipes that I found on allrecipes.com..

Butterscotch brownies
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
2 tsp vanilla essence
2 eggs

Preheat oven to 350degrees (175celcius)
Mix the sugar and butter, add the eggs and vanilla essence, stir well. Add the flour and salt and mix until well blended. The mixture will be thick and not-pourable so spread in a greased 8x8 inch baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until the brownies start to pull away from the edge of the pan.

Delicious, and very chewy. It always amazes me that I can get 2 cups of sugar into an 8x8 pan!
I have been chocolate/caffeine free for two years and one of my sons has been for 4 years because of a heart condition. Goodies we like are:
Reeses Pieces (no choc. just pnb and candy coating), Reeses White Chocolate Pnb Cups (I put mine in the freezer for a few minutes), white choc. covered pretzels, Zero candy bars, cupcakes, homemade cookies (sugar, pnb, oatmeal raisin, snickerdoodles), ice cream, caramel milkshakes.
When I was younger I always gave up chocolate for lent and a few of the things that I remember helping me were -

strawberry milk
malted milkshakes
sweet cereals (cap'n crunch was and still is a fav)
a spoonful of honey or brown sugar
and weirdly - wise potato chips

I rarely crave chocolate anymore. No idea why. Now my cravings are for really rich things like black olives, avocados, pine nuts, artichokes.
--I'm located in Western PA.
--I found NC in late 2004, CG since 2-2005, started going grey in late 2005.
--My hair is 3B with some 3A, texture-medium/fine, porosity-normal except for the ends which are porous, elasticity-normal.
--My long time favorite products are Suave & VO5 conditioners, LA Looks Sport Gel, oils, honey, vinegar.
