Hair Straightener Brush?

Hi! Has anyone one of those hairbrushes that heat up and straighten your hair. It has overall pretty good reviews, but was wondering if any of you wanted to chime in.

My hair is probably a 2c, with a fairly straight underlayer.

Does this seem like it would be as damaging as a normal straightener?
I purchased the Apalus brush, it didn't work great for me. Not horrible though! It straightened much faster than a flat iron. But it was frizzy and not silky like the flat iron will (mostly) get it. I think a combo of the two could save a lot of time. Use the brush to get it mostly straight and flat iron to finish it up.

I decided to start over, so I cut all my dead ends off which left me with hair just past shoulder length. I knew I had to find an alternative to using flat irons so often and I had heard about straightening brushes making the process easier, faster and being much less damaging. I invested in a high-quality straightening brush and will never look back. It leads up to all expectations I had and more. My hair is heathy, looks fresh and it only takes me 20mins max to fully straighten my hair. I love my healthy hair. Seriously I couldn't be happier.
