-   Swap board for Eurocurlies(

07-28-2000 04:06 PM

Hey! I get to be the first one to post!
I just wanted to say hi, and I hope we can make this work for us. I know there are lots of us out there. It will probably be easier for you UK curlies to swap between yourselves because of the currency difference, but I'm sure us Germany curlies can work something out (Eurodollar or something).

Hopefully this will be the appropriate place to post this. I read the eurocurly thread on the main hair board and wanted to help but felt a little overwhelmed. Would it still help to have someone in the US sending you stuff? Are you all happy with using ? CurliLocks, I know you've mentioned a) sending stuff out to other eurocurlies and b) that you can use the US Postal system just as if you were physically in the states - does that apply to people sending stuff to you?

In other words I'd like to help if it's possible to send to one or two central places (I think I'd get overwhelmed otherwise), and if you all still need the help. On the other hand, maybe CurliLocks, if she's still willing to do that, can get stuff from that website just as cheaply as I can send it. LMK.

Hello everyone!!

Even though I don't have much to offer (I live in The Netherlands) I'm so happy there are others with the same problems and wanting to help.

If someone whants to sell, re-sell (unless there is something you want from Holland bouncy cream, split personality or Alterna hemp glaze I am extremely interested.

Hi there,
I live in germany and I would be so happy if someone could send me Iso bouncy creme, rusk wired etc. things you can't buy in Germany. If someone needs something from germany e.g. Wella products or Phytologie which I often buy in France I would of course send them away.

ahh, isn't this excellent?! our own little corner of the curly world...

amy, you are incredibly sweet. big hugs {{{}}}
i am involved with a few swap at the moment, which will hopefully get me more supplies of bouncy creme and SP. but i wil definitely take you up on your offer of sending stuff over at some point. it was so kind of you to offer. can you get hold of hemo seed glaze? i seem to think that you have used it. i would really like to try it but none of my swappers seem to be able to find it!

thanks again for our sweetness. xx

Hi there! Finally got back to this. Yes, like Amy said, I can send/receive packages thru the US system. We can either try the on-line ordering, or have someone buy and ship things to me. Then I can forward them thru the German postal system. I haven't looked into the costs for German shipping to the UK yet. I guess that's why I never got back about it before. Although I wouldn't be able to do this often--I don't want to get in trouble and lose my mail privileges. I'll have to find out some shipping costs and you can decide if it's worth it. What brands/items would you be looking for? Let me know.

Hello Cloudy!

I sell my big bottle of ISO Bouncy Creme. See my post! I live in Stuttgart and will be in the south of Munich around august 19th!

Locke, I just sent you an email, I'll take the Iso bouncy creme.
Anyone interested in John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum (still 3/4 full), Bumble & Bumble Defrizz (1/2), Fudge Skrewd (1/2) or Mac Curl Enhancer (3/4). All these products don't really work for my hair, I am still looking for THE product!
